    Is it safe to get it from Kogan? Sorry a newb here. I still find it hard to believe that you can get it so much cheaper from Kogan than anywhere else (eg. Mobileciti sells it for $728) with out a catch

      Kogan imports grey stock from HK, and Mobileciti sells A-tick Aus stock.

      When you factor in GST and the usual price jack for electronics in Australia, you'd understand why Kogan can afford to sell it cheaper. Though for the premium you pay for Aus stock, you also receive full local warranty.

      Never had any trouble personally with Kogan, though it is somewhat of a hassle to claim warranty since their warehouse is located in HK, despite been a Aus company.

        Yeah i bought the 3G Note 2 from kogan a few months back. After a month the headphone jack stopped working so I had to send it to Kogan for a repair. They ended up sending me a replacement so I was without a phone for more than a month. There werent really any hastles with the process, it just takes ages.

    We brought an s3 from there and got it in 7 days in a sealed box so im happy to buy from there again.

    Stick out abit longer. The next note series comes in september,
    Hopefully u will expect to see undoubtedly a rapid price drop like with the s3.

    498 at DWI too, still not trusting the warranty policy of their though.

      the 2% surcharge for paying with paypal/mastercard/visa brings it up to the same price as kogan anyway. The advantage of DWI is that will be shipped much quicker. Kogan states ships in 2-3wks.

      Im in the lookout to buy a Galaxy Note 2 4g too and DWI still seems like the cheapest (not necessarily safest) option at the moment.

        i ended up cancelling my order with DWI and ordering from Kogan this morning due to their storewide free shipping so im unable to let you know how DWI is. I can say that cancelling the order was very quick once they finally answered my call.
