Brisbane-based Wetsuit Warehouse needs to clear some space quickly, so we're offering this OzBargain exclusive.

Receive $50 off the Aropec Wave Cutter 3/2mm men's wetsuit by using coupon code 'OzBargainAropec' at checkout, reducing the wetsuit to $99.95.

The Wave Cutter is a quality wetsuit, very similar to the Rip Curl Dawn Patrol 3/2mm Steamer, which retails for $279.95.

The suit features super stretch neoprene in the arms that provides maximum flexibility for paddling in the surf.

It also has a more durable material on the chest and legs to withstand a beating.

To top it off the wetsuit has a non-slip rubberized chest pad to keep you on the board while paddling.

  • Anyone have any knowledge of this brand? Never heard of it personally but this seems like a good deal.

    • Hope you don't mind me addressing this.

Aropec is a Taiwanese manufacturer we've been selling for 3 years.

For what it is worth, their products tend to sell well in our bricks-and-mortar store because the quality, feel and fit stacks up well against more expensive suits.

All their wetsuits come with a 18 month warranty for manufacturer defects.

  • Rep what is the difference between the Wave Cutter and the Paddle Pro?

    • In short, the Wave Cutter is more comfortable.

The Super Stretch neoprene in the Wave Cutter's arms and sides promotes more flexibility and comfort. The Wave Cutter will fit more snugly, better keeping water out while still being really flexible.

  • A couple of questions. Wanna order it from Sydney.
How much would be the delivery cost??

Doubts about the size needed: checked the table…still no sure. Have an old wetsuit Medium size. Bigger than me I suppose.
Should it be tight?? Like S size. My weight is 64 kilo, height 176 sm.

    • Furan,

      Shipping Australia-wide is $8.95.

The size charts are pretty true to form, so strictly speaking you'd be a medium. You're at the bottom end of that size, so it would be a relaxed fit (though the super stretch arms in particular do tend to 'size down' well). If you prefer a snug fit then you could go down a size, but it would be snug.

For what it is worth, I'm 2kg and 1cm taller than you and I would find the S a bit too snug for surfing, when I need that mobility.
