the garmin edge 800 is a new model and can be bought for around the same price.

I wanted one of these but decided on a dedicated gps instead (the garmin etrex 20). Can't see the screen when i ride as its too small!

  Actually I think the 810 is the new model of the 800 class. This is the new 500 class, the 510. Pretty sure you don't get anything bundled with the 800 for the same price
