Bought one of these on my last road trip when an older Tomtom was acting up (overheating).

This one is really annoying how it constantly runs out of battery, can't hold a charge, and when its dead takes forever to pull enough juice to start up again.

I'd recommend looking for something else :( my next one won't be a Navman.

    • I had worst experience with this crap, one fine day I broke it into pieces… Will never ever buy navman again

  • yep agree with other posters…not a quality product

Product review concurs, one star as that's the least that can be given. Looks good though, perhaps print the picture and place it on your window.

Only 2 years free maps? Lame.

  • I bought 2 units MY80T (Hands-free Bluetooth) - $170 and MY85T - $135 and I regret switching from TomTom to this brand.

    Cons

    • Re-routing

    • Touchscreen

    • Sleeps (doesn't switch off)

    • In MY80T, can't connect my iPhone

    • Live Traffic Update (Always incorrect)

Price is good for 5 inch GPS but what is the point of buying a unit that doesn't serve its purpose.

  • We used to have a navman but switched to TomTom after it got me lost in the middle of Brisbane. (We don't live there so i had absolutely no idea where i was.)

TomTom is not without its problems, but is a huge improvement on this.
