    Absolute rubbish…

    It's $2 cheaper than your normal price…

No excuse for deceptive and misleading advertising…

        I think I'll give your store a miss…

      • +1

        Still cheaper than everywhere else.

That's not true either. Mr Toy Toyworld has them for $139. That's the same price as you (with postage), and you can get it on the same day, and be guaranteed of the condition.

        $142 on an ebay store
        $155 on Mighty Ape

The only real advantage you have is that you have this set.

For once, I agree with jv

Mr Toy World charges anything up to $25 for shipping of this item depending on your location in Australia.

The ebay store charges $9.95 for shipping. Might Ape is selling the product for $4 less than RRP, so I think it's safe to say our offer is cheaper than everywhere else.

We guarantee the condition of all our products as well and package in solid cardboard boxes.

          We guarantee the condition

If you're going to lie about your discounts, there's not reason to take your word about the guarantee…

        • +1

We're not lying about the discount, perhaps you need to read the offer.

        • Mr Toys Toyworld have over 20 stores where you can pick up free.
A lot more if you count other toyworld franchises.

how many places do you have to pick up?

        • -1

You can pick up from our warehouse in Sydney.

        • @ToyUniverse You've lost the battle, best to concede defeat

        • Their web says $30.99 off but on here it's off RRP so unsure why you are so upset

Maybe they should but save $2 on their website to put a smile on your dial :)

        jv, you've done it again!

@jv — while the website says "Save $30.99", the posting said "Save $30.99 Off LEGO RRP of $159.99" which is a lot more reasonable.

@ToyUniverse — it might be a good idea to fix the amount of saving on your website, as it's not really a saving of $30.99.

@daveted — good idea to link to the product on MrToys.com.au to provide context. While it's true that its pickup price is the same as ToyUniverse after postage, many would actually prefer to have their goods delivered. Not to mention that all 20+ MrToys stores seem to be in Queensland.

  • I don't think it's a "bargain" as such. Maybe just a reasonably priced item. You could offer free postage on this set to sweeten the deal

    • Maybe just a reasonably priced item.

Well, that's debatable as well. Is Lego in Australia reasonably priced anywhere. :-)
But it is comparitively reasonably priced.

Depends on location but for Melbournites it's $8.95 or free pickup from their store.

        • You are right. I was looking at posting to Sydney.

  • Anyway, it's Lego, so in 10 years, this will have doubled in value.

We'll all be able to link back in 2023, and say….it really was a bargain in 2013. :-)
