OZBCOIN04

Use the Coupon code: OZBCOIN04 with our BitCoin Colocation products to get 10% off your order into May 2013.

This Colo Plan is special, where we supply the server and initial GPU PCI-e card as spec'd in the Colo Plan on our website (http://netpr.es/coloplans).

Colo order provisioning (where we supply the server for you) takes about a week and all our Colo Plans get dual IPv4 addresses and Native IPv6 (with IPv6 networks available too) and include KVM over IP (remote web-based virtual keyboard, mouse & display) as well as PDU over IP (remote chassis power management, so you can turn your chassis off & on again as you need).

By default our Bitcoin #1 Colo Plan (http://netpr.es/bitcoin1) is pre-installed with a Debian (or Ubuntu or CentOS) Linux Operating System, but you can supply your Operating System too by uploading or posting your media to us.

You can also supply your own 2nd Video Card with our 'Extra PCI-e Video Card' Plan (http://netpr.es/xtravidcard1) where you can send us your PCI-e card and we'll put it online into your Colo chassis.

Network Presence is an established Australian VPS, Colo and Cloud supplier using its own Infrastructure, based in the world-class Equinix Data Centre in Sydney and connected to A-grade Internet connectivity suppliers and Peers.

Please contact us (http://netpr.es/contactus) with any queries, or add your Coupon code to your Cart on our website at http://netpr.es/coloplans

We look forward to providing you with service, regards,
Richard of Network Presence.

Do you accept Bitcoins as payment? ;)

    • smile Not currently, but just because our website s/ware doesn't deal with them right now.

Later this year I expect that the answer will be different.

Sorry, for now all I can offer is discounts/coupons on you being able to make 'Coins fast yourself. :)

      Regards,
      Richard.

  • How many blocks would you be able to solo mine in a month with this? :)

    • By default we supply a Radeon 7770 card on a PCI-e x16 slot.

See https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison which gives that card a Mhash/s of between 182 and 213.

I know this is a 'moving target' for cards and processing rates, so if you want to specify your PCI-e card GPU type, we'll happily source it within 2 weeks (or refund you).

We're happy to custom quote if you want to supply your own card too.

      Regards,
      Richard.

lol not sure if srs. 200 mh/s hashrate for $700 a month? no thanks Jeff.

  • What a waste of power…

    • That maybe, but we pay for it and we're not using it, so there's power available for these Colo's for those who want it.

      Regards,
      Richard.

  • LOL. What the hell are you guys doing? I've got a much more powerful rig at home and it will cost me a fraction of what you're charging.
Get yer digital pyrite here :p

    • As mentioned, we're happy to customise the card if you want to specify or supply it.

      Regards,
      Richard.

One or two GPUs really isn't going to do much. Not for $630.
Can you give any evidence that this is in any way viable?

  • In order for this to be worthwhile, the Bitcoin return needs to be greater than your fees.

If that was the case wouldn't you just run them yourselves rather than renting them out?

If the business had (for arguments sake) a million dollars to throw at mining, that might be something. But what if they had ten million?
I'm thinking a good business model would split the mined coins between the supplier and customer. Instead of paying for a money and coal burning machine, the customer could rent/contract out part of a larger system / farm incorporating many MPUs/GPUs.

  • Based on your feedback, we've upgraded the PCI-e x16 card for these Colos to a Radeon 7850 which is listed as 363 Mhash/s currently.

    Regards,
    Richard.

Oh wow. 0.0206 BTC per day now and 2.71 USD revenue per day. Good Job.

      • -3

I can't help the BTC exchange rate and I guess if you had (today) 3 x Radeon 7970 cards running flat out you'd still be out of the action re: revenue / day, so thanks for trying huh?

        Regards,
        Richard.

Nws. Please explain to the good people of Ozbargain why giving you $700 a month to make $80 is a good deal.

        • +1

Really? Sorry, I've over-estimated in this and I apologise.

I've expired the deal here and I'll be back later.

          Thanks,
          Richard.

          LOL

        • I respect this reply, very much.
          Great work.

  • Pretty sure with the new ASIC tech coming out GPUs are considered nowhere near powerful enough.

  • One of the online bitcoin calculators show that expected monthly revenue should be around $83.30 (28/4/13) for a Radeon 7850 at 383 MH/s
