  • Heard the adds on triple m I think?

    Not sure about it though.

Tv seems too cheap. Way too cheap

    • Sorry. I thought the adds I heard were thingul. But it was songul. Having said that I would not trust the above website

http://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/thingul.com tells me to stay well clear…

  • im curious too, if anyone can provide some feedback on if they are legit or its a scam? have seen them selling cheap apple products also

  • it's definitely fake. Everything is way to cheap. Eg. Galaxy S3 for $299 delivered

i'll risk it and order the 55" tv and let you know guys

    • have u got a tracking number for your tv by now?

the weird thing about them is they do have https(ssl) and they accept paypal.

I'm really thinking about taking the risk too!

      • ask a mod about the deleted deals before you do anything.

  • I think there prices exclude GST, which as far as I'm aware is actually not legal in Australia. I'm pretty sure you're advertised/listed price HAS TO include GST/Tax. Could be wrong.

    • Strange that the website now has prices with gst.

  • Also their checkout doesn't seem to work. I tried to see if it would include the GST or anything when you try to purchase but the site doesn't appear to work.

Had a good browse around the website and tested the websites functionalities.
Found way too many inconsistencies with the website with 2min of browsing it. Which leads me to believe that some one has done a "backyard job" at creating this website to do any ligit real world sales.

Conclusion: looks "legit" to the user/but can see critical flaws with the website to suggest that this is a FAKE website. I wouldn't be buying anything from this website!!!!

  • Wow, just had a browse through the site and now they are branching out to making their own Thingul-branded TVs…Hmmm

Just saw this thread on Whirlpool. There is a comment/ response from Thingul rep.

    https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2099584

First time post for me- I hope it's ok to post this.

    • I believe the same is happening on this thread. Very similar circumstances. Have reported this to the mods.

      • That thread was deleted. Curious why?
