Hi guys,
I got a 3DS XL for a reasonable price a while back but it's mostly unused because the prices I'm seeing for games are $50-60. Maybe Steam has spoilt me, but I don't want to pay that.
Any hints for getting 3DS games for $20-30?

voltagex in case you didn't know Target are selling a few 3DS games for cheap. They probably won't have discounted price tags on them so you'll need to price scan the ones you want yourself.
I just got back from Target Bullcreek WA with my kids. There are a lot of 3ds games on sale. We got Need For Speed The Run 3DS, Ben 10 Racing 3DS and Ghost Recon 3DS all for $9.83 each. There were a fair few other games on special, but as it was my boys grabbing all the bloody games, had to do a quick sort through to work out what to actually purchase (due to the ages, wasnt keen on fighting games etc). They had an awful lot of 3ds games for $30 and under. Can upload a receipt if needed.
If your going to buy stuff from the 3DS shop, you can buy codes from the game uk site for about 50 bucks Aus(usually 79.95 on the e-shop) and change ur region to UK, download it, change back, and sup it works. Have not tried personally though.
Actually they are $69.95 on the eShop so saving $20, thanks for the hint tho.

Probably only worth it for the real new games you can't find cheaper, like monster hunter/fire emblem.
Generally when stores have clearance sales, 3DS games tend to come down to around $30, sometimes cheaper, sometimes a bit more dearer. DSE and TGG are good examples of this. I think right now, there's a Target clearance sale on 3DS games (not sure if it's just a regional thing though).
