Hi everyone, I'm planning on buying the desktop on the bottom right corner

I'm wondering what is a Rear Com2 Cable II?
Do i need the Display port to DVI dongle if i'm using an old LCD screen?
And is this desktop good for basic use?
That computer has a serial port, which I think is for legacy device support. Hence, it you're given the option for a COM2 cable to be supplied with the computer.
This computer has a VGA port, so if your old LCD monitor has a VGA output, then all you have to do is to use VGA cable (there is no discernible graphics or quality difference between VGA and DVI). If you don't have VGA then I guess you'll need to order the dongle.
As far as performance is concerned it will perform basic net browsing, HD playback — simple stuff. The only thing I don't like about this machine is the lack of a dedicated HDMI port, meaning you have to spend money and get the Displayport dongle to convert to HDMI.
I would look at this VisionTech slim desktop as a cheaper, more powerful alternative.

It comes with HDMI / VGA connection, instead of using the Displayport standard. It's also more upgradable in the long run.
