I admit to knowing practically nothing about DSLRs. Reading the specs on the Ryda site for both of these cameras I can't see much difference.
What are the main differences between them please?

If you still aren't sure you don't need the 60D
What he said.
Thanks for that.
Extra zero
The 600D is the consumer model, the 60D the prosumer in Canon speak. More professional options/quality etc.
But don't take my word for it:

If you are going to be shooting a lot of video I would go with the 60D. The 60D has a flip out screen which is especially good for shooting video.
Oh, well never mind, just saw that the 600D has one too!!
I agree with previous posts. If you don t know the differences, Go for the 600D (as cheaper)!

Thank you all for your help . Some great feedback there.
the 60D has also has a top facing LCD display on the left hand side.. 650D only has a back LCD..
after using a camera with top facing LCD, i don't think I can ever use one without it..
OP is talking about a 600D, not a 650D
same kind of thing… both 650D or 600D dont have top facing LCD displays…
add ok, i misunderstood what you meant by top facing display
Not a lot. 60D has some more focusing options and a faster continuous rate. If you still aren't sure you don't need the 60D.
