  When my nearest branch opened April 2012, the prices were better than now. For example, Sugar Cane Mulch was $8.93 but now it is $13.98. Did they think we wouldn't notice? The staff are much nicer than most Bunnings staff though.

    Bunnings staff (retail employees) seem to think they know more than me (actually works in construction, and instead of selling tools and equipment I use them). I hate how cocky they can be when all they know is what the box tells them.

      Haha. Reminded me of when I was at Dick Smith (this afternoon) and I pretty much sent some employee chick back to the registers while I assisted the customer with knowing what they needed and how they would use it all. Yeah, some staff probably shouldn't be working in the places they do, especially if they aren't "techxperts" or whatever they say.
