  This game confused me in the first 30mins. Is there a steep learning curve regarding this game if you haven't played the first?

    There is a tutorial at the start, though it is skippable, perhaps you missed it?

      From memory when the game first game out there was no tutorial. They added it later. It was hell confusing cause they changed a lot from the first game. Took me forever to figure out that you had to 'meditate' to use bloody potions.

        The tutorial was there, it was just really hard. They later nerfed it to make it easier.

    Initially with version 1.0, you will not have any bloody idea how to play the game as it is a direct sequel from the first.

    I was confused as hell and I decided to play Witcher 1 so that I can play the 2nd with ease. Must do tutorial if you are playing it for the first time. The combat is not easy

      I came from Witcher 1 and played the tutorial because the mechanics and interface are almost completely different from Witcher 1, so I don't see how that really helps.

    Generally yes so I expect it is on steam. The change is very small though and can easily be reversed.

  How big is this game to download through steam? Sitting on a bunch of games I can't download without capping myself, ie, arkham city @~20gb..
