While shipping to Australia is unfortunately $40, I have this exact watch and bought it for $120 last month and believe it's well worth the value. I highly recommend it. Ended up changing the strap to a leather one and it looks awesome.

Great value for an automatic watch, but cheaper on ebay, $68 delivered:

  • There are different versions of this watch with varying sizes. Been watching it on Amazon, but they won't ship it here. Currently $66 US.

    • This watch only varies in color.

      • Referring to SNK805, SNK807, SNK809 etc.

As said previously, cheaper on ebay. Awesome watch though, I bought mine a few weeks ago for $66 shipped in cream colour from this seller, can recommend for great service.

The SNK watches come in a lot of colours and band types, they're pretty accurate for an automatic, and a great buy IMO. I got a leather band for mine.

    • That one is cream in colour, not green.

      • I stated that it was cream, just pointing out that all the other colours are around the same, lower price on ebay..
mskeggs linked the same item for less than OP's deal

      • Seiko box not included. (Add US$8 for original seiko box)
  • Please change title to 72.24 SHIPPED…this is cheap…Might be time to upgrade my Orient Blue Mako

  • I've been wearing a Seiko 5 for the past 4 years. Absolutely amazing watch (for its price). Is this website good? Like reputable? I've been eyeing some watches on Amazon for a while… but they don't deliver to Australia. I'm going to the States in 2 months so I can get it then… however I'd prefer not to wait! Are there lots of fakes on eBay??

This website is Amazon's official partner and one of the biggest online watch retailers.

That said there are extremely reputable watch dealers on Ebay that will never sell you a fake, mostly from Singapore. They are easy to spot by their rating.

Don't worry about not having a box, its just a way of saving money. Any decent dealer will provide you with a genuine box for about $10 more.

      • Thanks for your reply mysakh!

Haha yes the boxes are overrated.

        I saw this on eBay:

        www.ebay.com.au/itm/2013-SEIKO-MENS-FIGHTMASTER-SND253-SND25…

Not sure if real. Excellent ratings for the seller, however none of the feedback talks about whether the product is real. I will admit, I am a bit of a novice with watches… so I wouldn't be able to tell if it were a fake.

so I wouldn't be able to tell if it were a fake.

Most people can't. Best way to tell is to wear this watch. If its accurate, its almost certainly genuine as there just is not much else to fake other than the movement. If you can see him sell thousands of Seiko watches and yet you can't see people say things like "fake" and "lemon", its probably not worth worrying about.

Accuracy wise, it may be up to 10sec off a day. If its 30 sec off - there is something seriously wrong with it. If its 2 second off - you are lucky. Most are about 5-8 sec off. My SNK805 is ~30 off a week. Usually the more you wear it, the more accurate it is.

In case you were looking for a rugged diver watch, take look at SKX007 and Seiko Monster, as they don't come much better than these in this price range.

        • Dude, thank you so much. Big ups to you. I will look up SKX007 and Seiko Monster first before I go ahead with this one! Fingers crossed!!

  • $70 is a pretty normal price for this watch, you can easily get it on ebay from a reputable dealer.

That said it is a great watch and it is a bargain )

It features Seikos 7s26, same movement found in much more expensive watches, great accuracy and very decent lume. Its widely regarded as one of the best entry level automatics on the market.

Only thing to note is that its dial is pretty small. It will look flimsy if you have large wrists.

  • Sounds good.. I don't like the green and especially the band… I will have a peek on the bay

Have a look at www.skywatches.com.sg they that watch for $57 AUD delivered.

      • is this website legit?
says they will ship fedex for only AU$5.84 too

        • Yes they are legit.

Do they do them in titanium. Been spoilt with titanium watches for the past decade, cant go back to a heavy watch now.

  • Do they do them in a quartz movement? I can't see the point of an inaccurate automatic movement in this day and age.

    • by definition, seiko 5s are automatic

if you dont see a need dont buy it, if you have a phone, laptop or a car you certainly dont need a watch

i had 2 or 3 seikos, eventually with the better 7s36 which i found very very accurate but i admit it depends on luck of the draw

      they are fine watches

nowhere near $300…. hell i dont think i spend like half that and i had a few

i have an Omega now so… automatic of course, dont dabble in cheap watches

      • alright buddy!!

    • There is a number of things.

First, mechanical watches will last a lifetime or even longer if taken care of. Quartz wont, electrical circuits will wear off.

Second, battery is unpredictable. It will last a few years, but you don't know when its gonna stop. There is no way to tell.

Third, people who are subject to strong magnetic fields, can't use quartz. Magnetic fields will affect both types of watches, but in a mechanical you can reverse the damage, in quartz - you cant.

Fourth, they may not be as accurate as you think. While most are only thousands of a second off the mark, there are many models that be off even a second or two a day.

Fifth, its feel and design. Sweeping hands and see through skeletons are adorable ) Note that this watch from Seiko is also a skeleton.
