  • Good quality? For the price that is.

  • The food layout and quality is very similar to Star Buffet which is also excellent quality.

    Check out the reviews below.

    • I don't agree, auburn RSL buffet is definitely not worth the normal price.
Once there and never going back.
But since its close, my parents go there once in a blue moon.
Nothing special, no oysters, no lobster, and they rotate the menu a lot, e.g. no sashimi most days.

  • true - it is all-you-can-eat, but they have imposed a 2 flush maximum on using toilets while you are there, in order to try and minimise the "all-dayers"

Do you have to take out membership of Auburn RSL, if so how much does it cost?

  • +1

Think Star Buffet is leeching all their business otherwise they wouldn't be placing ads around (never noticed any in the past AFAIK).

    • Star Buffet +1

  • No, you do not have to be a member

    • +4

or you can become a member simply by joining the Army and going and fighting in a war!, then come back (if you do) and get great deals like this for less!

      • +3

ozbargain way to get out of the $5 membership fee?

      • they actually have to pay more if they want to be real RSL club members [sub branch!]

  • Exactly, war Vets and their family's who have lost there loved ones deserve the best deals ever.

the chinese spread is actually very good
lots of chinese come to eat
    membership si only $3 pa
and you get a free birthday deal
unfortunately the veggie spread is not much for me.

  • I have been to this one a number of times it is OK… But then again it is cheap for buffet. Standard guest pricing is reasonable so no real need for the coupon if you are worried about expiry. Not a deal if the voucher expires

honestly, this buffet is not good at all, i used to go there a lot because i know the people who work there, but now i never go, the produce the guy gets it from flemington the stuff that no one buy they chuck it away the guy go and get it and serve to people.

God I wish we had pokies in WA sometimes… Enjoy your cheap feed.

    • +1

      Sometimes?….Always!

Imagine the amount of money the WA gov would make?

Those of us who don't gamble….simply profit.

Gambling is the fairest tax of all, it is avoidable.

      • I know you were making a joke…but…pokies are bad mmmkay…

  • For the price its good food, sometimes they bring specials out like fried prawns.
