Hullo all,

So I did an epic amount of research to find the cheapest GHD for my friend's birthday and managed to grab an amazing deal. Considering I have just received it in the mail without a hitch I'd like to share it with you all :)

The seller is registered with the GHD website, feel free to do it yourself anyways. Unlike alot of other UK stores that advertised FREE shipping and then didn't (To my dismay), this one does offer free international shipping. Yay!

I know the website states it's £110.00, but it actually goes down to £91.67 in the checkout (I'm not quite sure why??) and then if you also use the code TYS52013 it comes down to a further £87.09,
which equates to Paypal's (Ridiculous!) exchange rate, $135.00.

Feel free to comment about your experience below and if you buy anything else from the same site i.e. different model and etc.

    The reason the price came down is because they take off the VAT (like GST)

    good, but not as good as the lookfantastic.com deal posted some time back- but as you said- they say free shipping but then charge it at checkout- and despite my numerous emails to them- all they could say was "ïts valuable so we have to charge shipping"..???!!!

      Yeh I compared it to lookfantastic and this one ended up being a better deal for me.
      The supposed free shipping with lookfantastic and then charging me $25 particularly put me off. :/

    OP, the prices on this site look good especially if VAT gets taken off for Australian delivery addresses. How long did it take for the package to arrive? Was it in mint condition, well-wrapped etc?

    Where did the coupon code come from, and can it be used on any order?

      LOL I just found the coupon on the treatyourskin facebook page.
      So I'm not sure if can be used on all orders, but it worked for mine :)

      Also it came all wrapped up in bubblewrap and in perfect mind condition.

          I ordered it on the 4th April and it arrived on the 17th April, so about 2 weeks.

    That deal on Look Fantastic works out dearer as its actually 116 pound so $172 with shipping to aust. They advertise free shipping but as mentioned by others end up charging $16 to $25 pound extra.

    You can also get the Cloud Nine Original for 79.13 pound with coupon on checkout delivered. So works out at $117. Now which one to get for the wife?

    Just tried to order this. The order went through, paid by paypal and got a reciept and then 5 mins later it's all been cancelled.

    No explaination why, have emailed asking but not really a good service to take payment then reject it

      Sent them a message on Facebook which they responded to….

      "Sorry we got a flood of sales and thought it was due to an affiliate who was gaining comission and also giving the customer a discount, meaning we were losing money.

      However this was not the case so you are free to place the order again. Sorry for the inconvenience."

      I've just re-ordered it. The discount code no longer works but still only $141 with delivery

        That is a real shame, I messaged them on fb concerning them cancelling orders. I'm hoping that might help you guys out.
