Also, 10% goes to charity. I think there's some pretty good apps in here.

A couple of people suggested in the comments I make my affiliate link more noticeable, so here it is. Feel free to use my affiliate link below. It won't cost you anything extra, but will keep me on the way to upgrading my 2006 Mac.

  • Looks like it's sold out or not ready?

edit: yep. online, bought myself a bundle. cheers!

  • Online now.

  • So BTA is currently nice and low at $1.01 yet however I choose to pay cost jumps to $49.00 when I try and pay.

    • -1

stacksocial's internal processing is screwed, i'd recommend paypal.

      • +4

Even in the paypal description, it says $49 bundle but what gets really charged is the agreed price - atleast this is what happened for me.

      • Was same with PayPal :(

Got round it by not selecting the BTA price but entering a custom price. Even then Paypal seemed to want to charge $49 (or that may just of been description but wasn't taking any chances) so used a credit card and turned off the save card details.

    • I had the same scare but when I proceeded with making the payment via PayPal, the invoice came back with $1.01.

      • +2

I can confirm that the paypal transaction is indeed $1.86 (the current average)

  • The average is up to a staggering $1.45 at the moment. It will be interesting to see where it settles.

  • I get told the page I'm looking for doesn't exist.

    • seems to be kind of working now. Can log on.

  • Yay.. I'm number 4 and pushed the average up 3 cents!

  • I Paid $1.02 I didn't see that Paypal went up to $49, but then once I pressed process it was saying processing $49, but then I checked my bank and they only took out 1.02 and the Paypal invoice said 1.02, so it may have been coming out wrong but it worked correctly in the end.

    thanks for this OP

    • Did you get all 10 with 1.02?

      • yeah I got all 10

    • This is how paypal usually works with discounts.. Infact, you usually have to have $49 in your account but it will only charge $1.02 anyway.

    • +1

I got a mini heart attack when it processed with $49 lol but all good
      thanks OP

  • It seems if you click the 'beat the average' button it doesn't actually beat the average. You're better off putting in a custom price and doing it that way.

It did it that way first and wasted a whole $1.45. Had to buy it again (with a generous $2).

  • +1

I'm actually kind of embarassed that so far only one person has paid more than $5.

    • To be honest I would have if I thought it was worth it. I probably wont even download and install most of them. The only reason I really bought it was for crossover which I might want to use some day.

  • Sigh mini heart attack….

  • Thanks…. paid $2.49, well, the only app i am going to use is Gemini… nice app….. had helped me cleaned up gigs of my duplicate files

  • +3

hey Daabido, you might want to highlight your referral link to make it a little more noticeable. I would have gladly used your link if i saw it but i kinda scrolled through when i saw that mountain of text. :/

    • Seconded.

    • Sign in to earn $10 for each friend you refer

How can they make a profit on that when the average bundle price is ~$4

It won't cost you anything extra, but will keep me on the way to upgrading my 2006 Mac.

      Good luck with that.

(applicable to your next order!) <with stacksocial>

    • I used the referral link :)
i don't have a mac, need to get my hands on a MAC when i'm willing to pay for one now :P

  • $3.81 avg, I dont have a MAC but I need to buy!

  • Paid $3.90, as others have said it did say Processing $49 when I paid with PayPal, but only charged me $3.90.

  • Thanks, currently $3.95 …

  • Awesome post, purchased at 4.03 Average, Crossover is pretty sweet :).

  • got mine at 4.46, very sweet. thanks OP

  • Very good deal … thanks :-)

  • Mac Blu-ray Player

    How does this app work?

Sounds like you can hook up an external BR player, or play folders that would be encrypted as per a BR disc.

    • I've had the program for a while. I just connect a USB BluRay player and off I go. There was quite a gap of about 12 months when I first used the app and when I came back to it recently to watch some things. It seemed to me that playback had improved considerably in the past 12 months or so. It used to stutter a bit, the last time I used it it was fine (2011 13" MBP).

I think it's a good app if you want to play Blurays on your laptop. It's not as good as some of the Windows alternatives, but in a rather baren sea of options, it does the job.

  • Crossover is very useful, bought. Great post.

  • And it is up to 4.76 USD … don't wait when you want to buy … it only gets more expensive as the average will not go down :-). Still a great deal.

  • Thank you. i used your referral link.

  • Got it Thanks

  • Cheers, worth it for Crossover, though Gemini looks interesting as well.

  • It's up to $6.10 now, still good price, so i purchased :D

  • How does this work? DO they give codes to redeem on mac store like how humblebundle gives steam codes?

    • not mac app store redemptions but retail licences as if you bought it off their website. Basically you download the dmg file(s) and register it using the provided licence key(s).

It's all in the FAQs really.

Really want to buy Elmedia Player Pro for $20 before..
Now, at 6.12 I got this plus 9 more awesome software.. Woohoo..

  • $6.33

Worth it for Snapz Pro alone. Great app that I've always 'evaluated' in the past.

  • Question: if I just buy these, and let them sit in my account, can I download and activate whenever?

  • I wish I saw this earlier. Hope i get some use out of it since i'm paying $6.34

  • $7.02.
    The Horror, the Horror.

  • Got the bundle for $6.50 and pretty happy straight away. HoudahSpot will save me a heap of time searching for files, and Gemini just cleaned up 300MB from my hard drive and 12 gigs from my external drive.

  • It's up to $8.01. Buying mainly for Crossover, Gemini and future use of the Mac Blu Ray player.

  • +1

$8.18 - I bought it. Still happy as I will use Gemini based on the comments above. Also keen to try Mac Bly Ray player if I put a drive in.

  • This might be one of the best deals I've come across on Ozbargain. I bootcamp over to windows for blu rays usually, been seriously thinking about forking out the money for mac blu-ray player for ages.

Gemini cleared a total of 50GB from my mac and 1 of my externals. I've been looking for a screen capture app for ages too. All the other apps are really handy and cool too.

    This is amazing.

  • Paid $8.48 at 21.30 PM on 18 April.
