Was at Woolies in Burwood Plaza NSW(2134) and grabbed a 4kg Bag of potatoes for $2.79 marked down from $6.98

I Ended up taking 3 bags :)

While you are in Sydney and even in burwood, why you did not go to Sydney market? There you can find 10kg for $5

You better check the best before/expiry date. They may be growing sprouts already which could be poisonous.

  The sprouts are toxic but you would need to eat a fair few sprouts to actually get sick. Who would actually eat the sprouts anyway?
  Just plant them in the garden and have an endless supply of spuds.

Just picked up a 2kg of washed potatoes for $1.45 at Aldi 2285.
Firm and fresh and not clearance.
Must be a glut of potatoes at the moment?
