    Its definately clear you have to buy one of those motherboards. Good if you need a motherboard.

    I had 2x4Gb IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) 2166MHz 11-11-11 but it would only ever run XMP at 12-12-12 on Gigabyte z68 motherboard. The net has a lot of other people complaining of the same, though it may be more of a motherboard bios implementation problem recognising the IEM XMP profile correctly. Some also report contacting Patriot and being told to bump up their mem volts by .05 to run at the rated timings without error!

    I changed to same speed Gskill ARES kit and not a problem since. No more IEM for me.

    MSY excel in being unclear. Is it $105 and if you also get one of those motherboards it's another $35 off, or is the motherboard a condition of the $35?

    Hmm I am in the market for an Asus P8Z77-V-PRO mobo because it is one of very few motherboards that have 2 internal USB 3.0 connectors - so you can power up to 4 x USB 3.0 front panel ports without adding any extra cards.

    I just bought some of the RAM from Amazon.co.uk I put up yesterday, but this RAM is better for $5 more.

    Might be visiting MSY tomorrow….

      Unless you will use more features that extra internal USB3 is expensive, you can get a $100 cheaper Z77 mobo and $25 USB3 card.

    Deal says discounted price only available with purchase of selected ASUS motherboards. But the link just gives a blank page. Hopefully they will fix and list which model ASUS motherboards qualify for this promotion.

      I believe there is a new chipset due in June?? I guess they want to run down stock of these more expensive mobos coz they probably won't sell so well after the new chipset comes out….
