  • Would 3 x 32 inch monitors be too many? Currently rolling with 2 x 32inch and a 27 inch.

Depends if the other monitors are VA as well

Using this VA as the centre flanked by 2x IPS would work

If all 3x were VA, the off angle colours would be poor

    • I'm using 2x 27"- my chin is 75cm from the screen and I feel like there's too much neck movement for me.

  • Please wont somebody make this exact monitor except IPS!

  • Gah, unsure, this one with 2500:1 contrast, 300 brightness and covers 99% of sRGB, or the other $50 cheaper one linked in the OP's description with higher contrast (3000:1) but dimmer at 270 brightness but also seemingly covers a better 138% or sRGB.

There is also an older Seres 7 one going for the cheaper price bracket too. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/126186654293? Same brightness and contrast as this one, but worryingly doesn't list the colour gamut in its specs on the Samsung site.

Currently run a higher end LG 5k 31MU97 on my personal use machine, however am often working from home these days, so don't want to wear out that monitor doing basic emails and the likes, so thinking of just getting a cheap one for work use only. Anyone actually used or seen any of these screens in the flesh?

I've had a really bad experience with a Samsung monitor $500 monitor's PCB became faulty just after 3 years and Samsung refused to do anything about it. I would steer clear of samsung if you expect a monitor to last more than three years.

I hope you aren't making purchasing decisions on mass market products based on a single experience…
