Starting May 1, 2024, the price of the Crunchyroll Mega Fan subscription level will increase from $3799.00/year (~$7 AUD) to $43999/year (~$76 AUD).
Just received an email from Crunchyroll stating my MegaFan (12months) subscription will be increased to the new price of approx ~$76 AUD a year. Previously I was paying ~$18 for the year (when the Argentine Peso was stronger).
Anyone else sad their cheap anime sub is going away? Can't say I use it enough so may just cancel.

Irrespective I kinda have to laugh, like Netflix’s 69420 iq idea of booting all the turkish and others subs, many just go back to the high seas… like literally streaming platforms survive by being just slightly more convenient than going to the high seas.
Yup I have given up on streaming and use Radarr/Sonarr now it's much more convenient

I'm subbed to Turkey atm and also got a notice of the price increasing to 699.99 TRY from 354.99. Guess I'll look into switching to Pakistan or something once this current sub lapses in October.
