I'm obviously out of touch, but i've been meaning to ask, what games are people playing at 4k 240fps to justify needing specs like this?
Possibly esports. But its more the flexibility of playing lower resolution/upscaled games with high FPS for competitive then 4K quality with lower FPS for AAA titles.
Counterstrike/CoD/League Of legends. Although could argue its not as important for LoL.

People don't tend to play esports FPS on 4K, if anything they'd buy the dual mode LG version with 1080p 480hz.

I personally don't think it's worth it bc it's nearing the price point of previous higher gamut and high refresh rate led monitors (If we weren't willing to spend $2000 on a comparable monitor back then, why is it worth it now?)Sure, I just meant that last time I looked into it, esports players didn't like running on such large monitors, and almost all new games aren't going to run close to 240fps at 4k resolution, even with a top of the range card… unless that isn't the case with the 4090.
It's more of a best of both worlds thing. You can hit 240hz for your competitive shooters (bonus points playing competitive shooters at 4k + 240hz + oled), while getting incredible 4k oled views when playing any triple A title, even if you don't get the 240hz in them.
Is this the version that won't get any firmware update?
BUYERS BEWARE - This is not the same monitor that is heavily reviewed/ is $2199. This does not receive firmware updates, have the KVM nor have USB inputs. USB PD charging is also limited to 15W iirc. You are much better off going for the Alienware deal when it comes to 321UPX as the 321URX is the much better albeit more expensive version

Nah holddd still over priced. It's base price was $950 USD in the US. Converted to AUD that's stil $1500. The markup they put on their monitor in AUS is just so stupid that even after a 25% discount it's still more than it's converted US price. Dell is way better in doing a fair conversion in their prices. IDC that dell is bigger, MSI and ASUS overseas pricing is criminal. We're basically subsidising US buyers with every purchase.
True, but it's more the fact Dell has local logistics due to enterprise support rather than a conversion issue.
