Looks like it's only $5 more ($1039) without an EDU account?

Nevermind, actually $1189 with the 8845HS (and +$20 for an optional fingerprint reader).

Silly question, where does it state they are 780m? I seem to only see integrated graphics for each model?

  • For ease, only the last one is touchscreen

I had very bad experiences with Lenovo. It is a yoga model I purchased at Officeworks few months ago at $1400. Touch pad stopped working 2 months ago. Battery did not charge 2 weeks ago. Lenovo customer service is crap. No wonder why Lenovo is always on sales.

    • Not had good experiences with them either… previous company i worked for (i'm in IT) we had to use them because parent company forced us and it was abysmal … we just called them LeNoNo …

    • same here. I bought two IdeaPad 5 14ALC05 a couple of years ago, 8months in some keys stopped working on one of the laptops. After a few back and forth with support, they finally decided to fix it. Now that the warranty has expired some keys stopped working again and to make matters worse the display no longer works. BTW the other laptop has now started to have issues with some keys as well. So never again.

if only 2 months old with so much issue from OW, can you just bring it back and refund instead?

      • Sadly Lenovo rejected refund request. OW only refund within 30 days from purchased date.

        • Sad … so what laptop brand are you using now?

          • @kaikor: I have another Dell Laptop which I have been using for 11 years. Another one is HP.

            • @Anthonio: Yeah our company laptops are all Latitudes, mine has been fine taking back & forth between home & office, always been interested with Alienware, but their prices are just insane now, close to Razer blade crazy prices!

              • @kaikor: Dell seems having stable performance. I haven’t got chance to use Alienware as it is too expensive.
