Yes I saw their offer but since I'd never heard of them I decided to stick with the major retailers.

SaveOnIT have been around for years, very reliable, i also buy a family pack.
6 licences for ~ $20 more than the price of 1

      • As the other guys are saying, SaveOn IT have been around for years. I've been buying M365 from them for around 6 years with no problems at all. Besides, if you pay by credit card you're covered if even if there was a problem.

      • I believe they've been around for ~6yrs.
Their website looks like it's even older ;-)

I believe they're tied to Compuworld up in Brizzy. They've been around since ~2000

    • This cost should be tax deductive right?

      • +2

That would depend on your circumstances.

    • yep where i get mine (family one also)

    • I noticed that one of their family members had to vacate Chatswood Chase recently due to the shopping centre upgrade. I wonder if their subscription is transferable.

    • Will Jb or OW price match ?

  • how can we get this for $10 per year? this $100/year seems to be rip-off as there is no other equivalent or better alternative.. !

openoffice is free but it is probably few decades behind MS office… !

is there anything else more affordable and can replace office?

    • You can switch to google workspace

      • google cost $10/month (AUD) for basic tier so probably more costly then Microsoft office and if it is available to individual not the company?

also, this product is online so we end-up buying their cloud storage etc.

probably works for business not for individual who don't want to keep paying monthly or yearly subscription simply to make few dozen files in word or excel.

i still use office 2019 that i had copy bought once with $100 original but Microsoft doesn't provide all features that they have for office 365.

You can claim m365 on your tax return so it is less than 100 bucks

          • +3

@HolyCr4p: that is what people think when they pay over priced property without realising that you will only get 30% cost back or 20% depending upon your tax band and the rest is what you pay out of pocket so it works for those on high tax band as they get more back on their tax return but not the one on lower tax band or no tax band at-all.

i guess microsoft is opening market to another company here and i hope someone really comes out with product that beats office and available on one off cost basis like what MSoffice used to be or $10 per year basis.. !!!

        • You do know you can stack m365 family with individual and you will get family pack?

    • Office Professional Plus 2021 is the full, outright suite.
Yes, it’s $600+ RRP, but it’s often cheaper by buying legal software keys through enterprise license and then “bypassing” to another outright license

      • I do have official legal copy of office 2019 but which works for normal task but I need stock information which only comes with office 365 not in any previous version.

Yes. I'm paying about $13.68/yr for my family pack.

That Family price is way too expensive when compared with the current SaveOnIt price of $106.

Hope SaveOnIt will have another sub $100 deal on the family pack.

This requires iPhone/iPad, and if you have one, you can get M365 Family for around $1.40 a month.
