[WA] Baileys 4.1.1 Lawn Fertiliser $15 @ Bunnings Warehouse (Bibra Lake)

80

Seems like a good price on 4.1.1. Not sure if available at other WA stores as well.

In time for Autumn and Winter where this is a better option than 3.1.1+.

Can confirm same price @ Bunnings Cockburn as per signage however scanned at full price and had to claim a refund.

    • I've been Bunnings and bought half a dozen clearance items , Not one of them actually scanned at the signed price .
      Bunnings Belmont .

    • Was there many left? Husband only saw the post at 6ish and didn't have time to go

Added : not available at Willetton if anyone was about to check

  • Isn't 9-4-5 NPK the golden ratio? Just have to look at Shirley No.17 - best selling fertiliser

    • You are probably right, what I have been told is 4.1.1. works better in colder soil temps and also lasts longer. Seems to work okay for me 🤷

    • Unless I have missed something I am a bit confused by the 4.1.1 ratio spec. I thought that this ratio normally applies to N:P:K (but happy to be corrected), and according to the Baileys website, this stuff is 16% N, 1% P & 10% K - which isn't 4:1:1, so who knows.

Also the application rate of this is more than double the Scotts fertilizer (not unexpected since it has 16% N vs 28% N), so an 8kg bag doesn't go nearly as far, but at $15 it is still probably less than ½ the price of Scotts, so not a bad price.

According to Tia Maria from Kahlua, apparently this is not the Bailey's I was looking for…
