  • So I’ve gathered ‘origin’ just means a couple less accessories then some more pricy models. Wonder if the accessories are really needed. Thinking as a gift

I never used any accessories that came with mine (think I got 3). But I don't have long hair or style, so can't speak for others

Perfect thanks, it’s for someone with above shoulder length so should do fine! Gonna get!

Three females with very long hair in my house, ours would be 6+ years old??? Has worked flawlessly, everyone loves it, and no they don't use nay of the accessories.

      • +2

I too have never used the accessories, but I'm a man.

    Elon Musk can’t touch this

Seems like Elon Musk is living rent free?

Dyson make a lot of overpriced products, some just don't last, however our Supersonic hair dryer, isn't one of them and highly recommend.
Light weight, quieter, dry's hair a lot quicker, with three females with long hair this has had a friggin big workout over the years, but they don't use the accessories.
Only downside, has been availability of the wall mount.

The cordless hair-dryer just lasted the 12month warranty, and Dyson have been absolute terrible to deal with, refusing to acknowledge a problem.
Vacuums have been a mixed bag, some I highly rate where others have been meh.

Well they wasted a lot on a dyson car R&D

    • Cordless hair dryer by Dyson?

      • Sorry straightener, was good while it had battery life. Dyson say < 5min run time is normal.

    • We have the OG Dyson Supersonic but the problem is the air filter cover snapped off and in the original one… the only way to replace it is to disassemble the whole hair dryer!

      • Damn glad they fixed that.
I realise the OG didn't split in half, but have you checked to see if the replacement can be used without disassembling the unit, understand you would need to completely cut\break the current filter.

Ours actually snapped off (ie broken). I actually ordered a couple of different replacement ones from Dyson Australia but when I realised there was no way to actually slot it onto the unit since the Aussie power plug on other end is too big!

On another note did you know that over the years they also came in different sizes?!

Luckily Dyson refunded me on everything.

Show some respect to ur balls! They deserve this

      You should buy 2

      • Dollar to ball ratio far too high for ozbargain.

  • Ordered one for the wife's Christmas gift. Thanks!

Wonder if the original Supersonic attachments will work with this updated model which I know has some physical differences (see aforementioned comment on filter cover) but in all fairness, the wife has only ever used the one attachment. The rest are somewhere in storage.

    Delivery date of 27th Dec!!

Disaster! Wanted it for the wife's Xmas pressie!

    • I got the same message but am confused since it says it's already received by Aus Post for shipping?

  • +1

    Back in stock.

  • Just bought one for $369. Code still works

  • Cheers !
