Not sure if this should be described as a freebie, but still. Argentina, gold points redeemed. Free games claimed. Similar to the previous deal but not price error this time. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/808480

Due to currency exchange, some Nintendo games can redeem more points for now. Tears of the Kingdom, 1300+ gold points, mario wonder 1100+ gold points.

But, some games can be purchased with only a few hundred gold points,

Hollow Knight, 360 points,

Straw Valley 360 points,

Cuphead, 800 points.

And more. So, if you still have some games that you can claim gold points, be quick before they increase the price.

    Correct. Usually, you claim one game like Tears of the Kingdom, you can get hollow knight + straw valley + another one

  Let’s get a list going of cheap switch games which can be redeemed for gold points on Argentina store. I’m going to try and get a few from JB 2 for $30 tomorrow.

      I can’t quite work out what titles are eligible for points. I think first party Nintendo are a safe bet. But many of these indie titles maybe not? Or perhaps it is only titles which are also sold as physical copies in Argentina? Love to work it out..

      I can confirm that Prodeus was not eligible :(

        first party games are cool. but only games released within one year can claim points.
        for what I can recall, tears of the kindom, mario wonder, mario RPG, pikimin 4, pikimin 1+2, beyonetta origin, kirby wii deluxe. detective pikachu, wario

        You can only claim points on games that were released within the last 12 months.

          @zonra: Yes and there are a few in the JB sale which are less than 12 months. It just depends whether they can be claimed or not.. probably best to make sure they are also sold as physical copies in Argentina

  summer of mara - currently 400 points but regularly goes on sale every few weeks for ~200 points if willing to wait and see. Last sale ended 2 days ago

    Wizard of legend is 220 points. Hasn’t been discounted to 66 points since August. Slim change it will be discounted soon.

  I went into the 'great deals' section of the Argentinian eshop, a few notables for redemption include:

  Portal 1+2 bundle - 1088 coins
  Mortal Kombat 11 - 900 coins
  Bioshock Collection - 1200 coins
  Borderlands collection - 1200 coins
  Civilisation 6 - 1200 coins
  Ni No Kuni - 1000 coins
  Star Wars Kotor 2 - 1000 coins
  Untitled Goose Game - 886 coins
  Trine ultimate collection - 800 coins

  A lot of them are on special and expiring within 24 hours though.

  There are quite a few low cost indies as well, go to the 'Best sellers' section and then 'Download-Only Games' to see the better ones.
