      https://www.amazon.com.au/Ledger-Nano-Plus-Hardware-Safeguar…

      no "orange"
      black is $139
same price for white and blue

edit- oh yes with ledger delivery, costs about the same and quicker ETA from amazon

    • Hm Should I add Amazon link to this deal too?

Is buying from amazon safe though?

YMMV but people have reported that sometimes Amazon resells items that have been returned. In this case this could mean someone has tampered with the Ledger. Personally I would only ever buy directly from Ledger, and always use a PO box or parcel locker or business address for delivery.

        • What are the ways to tell it's been resold & tampered?

          • @capslock janitor: Good question, but I think given we're talking about a savings of maybe $20-$50 maximum and it's a device that you will use to secure potentially very large values, it's really not something worth taking a risk on.

didnt they cop some backlash on releasing some new feature susceptible to backdoor or hack ?

I've got a few Ledgers but slowly moving to Tangem wallets. Their cheaper, more secure, open-soruced and no back door entry for governments to enter

  • Im currently in the US, is there any zone domestic specific if i buy and ship to US address/hotels? Any US/AU diff or doesnt matter?

    • +1

      Doesn't matter. It's a universal product

seen loads of people complaining that there ledger wont turn on anymore since being left since the 17-18 bullrun. hopefully they've sorted out the longevity of them

    • I for one are staying away from Ledger devices for long term storage. When the product starts to fail (in my case, half the pixels died on the screen making it difficult to enter the PIN to get in) and you request assistance, the reply you get is:

      Hello,

      Thank you for your reply.

We are sorry but your Ledger device is not covered by our two years warranty anymore.

Since we understand that this is probably not the answer you were hoping for, we can offer you a discount on your next order on our official website.

You will be able to restore your existing wallet on any other Ledger device with your 24 words.

Obviously, you are able to export your accounts from your Ledger device. You will find how to proceed on this page.

Thank you very much for your patience and your understanding.

      Best Regards,

      Warren
