  These are like the 'Aero Bar' of chalk. Decent on concrete, but rapidly disintegrate on asphalt.
  If you're prepared to forgo the 8 special effect colours, you can get a very-slightly cheaper price per chalk piece (18.375c vs 18.59375c) with Amazon's 48-pack for $8.82.
