  • God damn it, no size 9 or 9.5 in any fit. I’ve been waiting for a RMW sale for so long!

    • The Iconic should price match. Hoping they get smashed with some enquiries and lower the site price. Got a credit to use with them.

      • Same sort of stock levels on the iconic unfortunately 😭 I guess 9/9.5 is their most popular size… doesn’t help I’m looking for the wide fit…

        Anyway, good find OP!

        • Have you tried them on for sizing? The RMW sizing is different to the regular sizing.

I'm usually a US10 (~280mm) but I need RMW8 wide fit ('H' fit) for some reason, which doesn't match up with their size chart… The surprising thing for me was actually the wide fit as I always thought I had narrow feet (I have a slim build) but their regular 'G' fit was very narrow and uncomfortable for me.

          • @brotherfranciz: Yeah, I’ve been fitted in store. Twice actually… first store said 9.5H, second store said 9H. No stock of either unfortunately!

Was lucky enough to get Craftsman for $444 last week from the iconic.

      Was that stacked with heyiconic75?

      • Yes

  • Can you go inside a shop and try on shoes to get an idea of the size without buying? Is it frowned upon? Cause I don’t want to end up buying something that is not my size.

I followed their size guide, which was perfect for me

    • Should be no problem

    • There is a lot of BS around these boots sizing. They fit in standard AU boot measurements. I wear a 10 in runners always US sizing. Sometimes 10.5.

In AU / UK that is a 9.
Blundstone, Rossi, Redback, RM, all the same, buy a 9 and they stretch a little.

The only thing with these is they are tight / slim compared to mens work boots. So the wider fit is better if you wear workboots normally, as they will feel narrow.

I went to RM, got sized, then had to get RM to send them off to be remade to fit. They don't always get it right either.

      • yeh my 7G are pretty narrow and the little toes cop if i'm doing any decent amount of walking besides around the office.
I wouldn't buy them again, not in leather soles anyway - much tougher and less give i guess.

A 7H may be better in the craftsman with thicker woolen/blend socks for extra comfort. Probably won't bother unless they are under $400 again but should really consider getting rid of these for $200 or something.

    • Done that before but i didnt mention upfront that i was not going to buy from them. We aren't obligated to buy something just because we tried it on

You know it's meant to be when they have your size
The iconic hardly ever had any size
Went to the DJs at Sydney City and they were flying off the shelves
    Thanks OP !

If you pay more than 400 for these you’re a dill

    • name checks out

  • Shame they don't stock narrow widths.

    • The G are pretty narrow

      • I got fitted at a RMW store a few years ago and they said ideally I needed an E (custom-order)…

        • I'd love to spread my toes out more like in a sports shoe. Maybe see how you go trying on an F I reckon.
