  • Hey, I tried on and off for two days, Chrome on a Mac. Read this, then gave it a crack on my phone. The order seems to have gone through.

  • Lol. this platform is a joke. PC/phone/different cards, all failing.

    • do not use "auto-fill" to enter your details.

  • Worked for me the past two days, but not now. Same card used etc.. Weird.

    • Tried a different Visa card and it worked. Failed attempts were CBA, successful was with ING.

  • Can i buy theses gift cards with Coles ultimate home gift card ?

  • For those price beat at Officeworks, since they are selling physical cards, are you doing this in store or via phone then collect in store?

    • i called up via phone, spoke to the person and clarified whether they can price beat. i told them the website too.
They matched the website so max is up to $2500.
After they confirmed, i went to the store and paid

      • Is this done in one store? and does the giftcard comes in 500x5 or 200 value?

        • Got rejected both via phone and in store.

        • Out of my luck, all sorted at one store.
$500 didn't work as OW system registers this product as a 'gift product' and they couldn't apply the discount/price match.
As such, i had to buy a bunch of $200 cards in separate transactions

Just picked up $2.5k in 3 transactions at Officeworks. In total, it is a 14.5% discount with Price Beat. I got very lucky
    Down to $2137.50

    • Did you pick them up in physical gift cards?

      • pick up in store and physical

        • +1

I tried, the guy in store said it was digital vs physical cards so they refused to match.
He also claimed that he couldn't get the $500 discounted on their system

    • you can price beat gift cards?

  • Stuck on payment details loading screen. Can’t even enter any credit card details.

Tried iPhone, MacBook and work PC on chrome / Edge.

Worse than last time when it was 15% off

    • Stuck for me too on the same screen.

      • Website is working again.

        Payment went through first try.

    • I disabled adblock and reloaded then it was fine.

    • do not use "auto-fill" to enter your details.

Same issue for me - 2 totally different cards / different browsers / devices and always get the OTP prompt - enter details, then get transaction failed.

  • Note Whilst you can enter $500 in for card value - the checkout would subsequently fail with a non-descriptive error.
However purchasing 3 x $250 cards in one transaction worked!

    • 500 worked for me last night .. though I did have to disable my adblocker to load the CC input section.

  • How are people getting around this constant transaction failure error? Doesn't matter what platform you try, it always fails.

    • try different email address…

      • do not use "auto-fill" to enter your details.

  • Successfully bought one just then for ~$385, email delivered in minutes.

  • Failed for me today. Bought some over the past few days but seems to be hit or miss. CBA card worked for a couple days..then wouldn't. ING card worked for a couple of days, and now won't. Think I will just quit while I'm ahead.

I bought $2,500 worth of gift cards from this deal and loaded it into my Apple ID, and my Apple ID is now permanently banned. I called Apple and they said there is nothing they can do about it due to a breach in terms and conditions of Apple Media Services. Can anyone provide more insight to help me with this?

Wow that sounds scary. Did you by any chance have a recent order that you paid via that balance and then cancel the order? Some posts on Apple forums with similar situation to you.

      • Nope I bought it with my credit card, loaded it into my Apple ID the moment I received it in my email

using different names/emails (noting $500 cap)?

Good luck getting it resolved sooner rather than later.. a bit scary Apple support said there's nothing you can do about it.

      • +1

Nope, it was all under the same name, it went through without an issue when buying and redeeming it into my Apple ID

        • +1

Good luck, and let us know how it goes.

        • +1

WTH that is messed up. Agree, please keep us posted, that sounds like an absolute nightmare. I hope they resolve this quick

    • +1

which term does this violate? Did apple support team provide explanation?

    • +1

Was this ever resolved for you? From what I'm reading around, it sounds like a fraud warning may have been issued by your credit card provider?

  • I managed to get an order in for a single $200 card, so of course I can’t get any more…

  • Stacked with Cashrewards 7% and Education store. Was worried about delivery timeframe, but all 5 gift cards came within 5 minutes of ordering using a St George credit card - possibly a sticking point for some, according to previous threads.

    • Did the same thing. Borrowed my friend pc because my ipad and iphone payment didnt go through.

      • do not use "auto-fill" to enter your details.

  • Tried to cheekily use my Coles Mastercard e-gift card from GiftCards.com.au to pay for it.. haha

    FYI- it didn't work.

  • Thinking of doing this. Problems.

    1. Failed transaction error when attempting to pay with card. 'Please contact customer service.' Anyone know how to resolve this?

    2. Wondering, if use part credit card, and part Apple Gift card for purchase - does it mention on the invoice that the item was partly bought on Apple Gift cards? Say the item is $1000 and half ($500) came from gift cards, does it say on the tax invoice: "$500 Total" because that is how much came from the actual direct payment via CC?

Bit worried because first time using gift cards, and buying it for my little business BUT worried about complication on invoice if it shows a lesser amount or mentions gift cards in any way…

        • Had the same problem, called customer service and they said to call my bank. Tried 2 card on apple system, still doesnt work. At the end, I used PC, failed on my westpac cc and went through with my anz cc.
      1. I redeem my gift card and pay partially on my card. No details of split payment on my invoice.

      • Thank you very much for the advice! I tried my NAB card … no luck … will try another bank card. Wonder why some cards work and some don't …

        • +1

Mind you, my ANZ and westpac cc doesnt work on my iphone/ ipad. It could also from what device you bought it with.

          • @clayaa: Confirm got card working with NAB to purchase gift cards- Had to use a different device. Spoke to customer service at Bank and they confirmed it was not them, it was the website. Thanks Clayaa! Have a great rest of the week :)

  • I am surprised that this deal has not ended.
