It does, and the IPS on the Lenovo is nice.
But so many more accessories for the Samsung.
I have always stayed away from Lenovo because I’ve read too much negative feedback about their poor software support. Also I’ve had Samsung phones for years now and the big advantage has been the ability to text and take calls on my Samsung tablet since it’s in same ecosystem and connects to phone. Features like this is the kind of thing that has set Samsung tablets ahead of the competition in the Android world. One UI actually tries to build a tablet UI experience as opposed to just being blown up phone UI a lot of the competition were offering. However Lenovo has been working hard to catch up and Google has also entered the tablet game again so that should hopefully lead to a better experience for all Android tablet users. I would probably go Samsung because they do have a better record of longterm software support, which is why I end up upgrading in the longterm. I still have an iPad Air 2 because 7 major updates and still a usable device. Where Android tablets form that have long lost support and perform like crap. In the end I’ve learned apple better value for money in tablet world for longevity.

Really wish Samsung offered a tablet around the $350 mark (deal price) with a better processor and more ram. The A8 is a bit underpowered for the kind of longevity you want out of a tablet like this - eg for kids.

Good to know thanks, I'll check it out. The only issue with an older 'S' model is shorter support for critical patches. A quick Google search reveals Samsung won't provide security patches
for the S6 beyond 2023.The S6 lite 2022 model came out last year and gets 4 years of support. So 2026-2027 will be when it stops receiving updates.
