"" BUYER BEWARE""!!! - what you see online is not what you get. The quality is absolute rubbish. I had purchased $800 worth of meat and lets just say after the first cut i emailed them the same day as arrival with pictures , saying im sending this back i would like a refund. The meat is old and chewy. They wouldn't except refunds!. I told them to get F&&..D and will never buy off them again. They always have specials because they burn customers!

I didnt know RM williams changed their name to Vics Meat because their meat is as tough as leather boots!
Order Number VPM-74116-1 & VPM-74324-1 Ordered about $800 worth of meat mainly scotch fillet and t- bone and i would never order again. Meat is Tough ,old and full of grizzle! - T-BONE no bone to separate the fillet and fillet non existent. Contacted them via email and took pics the response was pretty much them explaining the meat (in simple terms the cows they slaughter are old but its still good quality) but if its not edible then what .???? didn't get a response so as far as I'm concerned they can stick this meat up there $%# . I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THESE GUYS AGAIN YES YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SH!THOUSE THANKYOU FOR NOT RESPONDING

with pics but i cant copy pics

Even at 15% their prices are still some 50% higher than other premium butchers.

    • Exactly what I feel!

The price is ridiculous, for example -

WAGYU FULLBLOOD SCOTCH FILLET STEAK MARBLING SCORE 9+ STONE AXE - 300G for $110 ($93.5 after discount)

That is over $300 per kilo - the price of Japanese A5 Wagyu Scotch Fillet / Porterhouse in Melbourne is less than that.
The Fullblood (M8-9) Stone Axe Scotch Fillet / Porterhouse is usually $140 - 170 per kilo in the market, $200 / KG in some fancy butcher in The Glen, Melbourne.
I don't believe this M9+ will worth that money

  • Yeah VICs meat is owned by Victor Churchill; 'premium meat'

You're better off going to a small premium butcher, and making a relationship with them. There is absolutely NO difference to the meats that Victor Churchill onsell to you, vs. a small butcher receives, other than the premium markup.

  • Who in their right mind would buy from there rather than their local butcher? Maybe if this was cheaper sure. But who wants to risk getting rotten meat from half a country away for almost double the price of your local?

  • Ive ordered from them a few times, most things have expired in a few days to a week max also, so large orders were problematic with food being spoiled before the opportunity to use. Quality average at best.
