    OMG, this is so cheap.

    • Serious? lol

  • Great price for the C2 55". I bought the CS 55" at $1695 last boxing day sale when the C2 was still $2200-ish.

  • Will the 55” fit in a sub standard 4wd?

    • Surely. I brought one home in the boot of my Elantra. Out of the box it fits on the rear footwell.

Not much stock around for the 77 inch C2, no options for delivery and no stock for 500kms.

    • Yes no stock anywhere

If you’re keen on that size model, it may still be worth going into your nearest TGG and asking if they can order it for you. This is what I did before Christmas when it was going for the same price (after additional 20% discount) but the website was indicating no nearby stock same as it is now. It was available for delivery in about a week. (I used the intervening period to stock up on Ultimate Home GC from Woolies, which happily were also discounted at the time, so effectively got an extra 10% off.)

The only caveat is I note the 77” is currently marked as being on Clearance so it might be harder to source now than it was then. No harm in asking though.

      • I have to talk to people…?

  • 65 inch in c2?

    c3 just announced

    • Not just ‘just announced’ but it will be launched at the end of this month or April!!!
There isn’t much difference between C2 and C3 though.

  • I can't actually check out the 55" selecting delivery. Getting this message:
    "Warning!

Please note: Your delivery or pickup options may have changed. Please reselect your preferred option."

When I select pickup it says:
"Pre-Order product can be picked up in store after official launch date. You will receive an SMS notification when the order is ready for pick up."

So yeah, doesn't seem to be available at all

    • I have similar situation. I can't place the order by choosing delivery method, but I can order it by click and collect.

I bought the 77" A80K from Sony a few weeks ago and there are so many issues. Now I need to get a Sony tech to come and replace the motherboard. Also made the mistake of buying their speakers which have problems also. Sony customer service sucks and is slow. Moving away from LG to Sony has so far been my biggest regret of 2023. Buy the LG over the Sony.

    • Hey mate, what are the issues you have? I'm tossing between this and C2. Leaning towards Sony as I'm 80% movie and 20% PS5/Switch. Thanks!

It's mostly sound related with a high pitch noise coming from the back of the TV.

Apparently they're selling the same TV with 2 different motherboards, with one being an old one which is not even compatible with their own soundbars (which is what they sent me). It's just a mess.

They have admitted to knowing about the problem and it just blows my mind that they are still sending the old ones out. It's just very frustrating and they are slow in getting it fixed. But it has put little trust in Sony for me.

The picture quality is good though.

  • managed to price matched the limited stock 77" C2 in my local HN which has last one in stock!

Don’t really want to spend time buried in reviews and reading. I just want to purchase an excellent high end TV, viewing distance 4m, general use (light gaming), that will last me many years. My current TV is a 50’ Panasonic plasma, 10+ years old. Size of the new one 65-75, I think.

Any suggestions ? I reckon I should prob wait until march once the new TV releases come in (so I can buy the previous generation).
