Just found this offer on my Commbank rewards section, so it might be helpful to you :-)

How to claim:

  1. Activate before you spend
  2. Shop online on the airbnb website
  3. Pay with your eligible CommBank debit Mastercard or credit Mastercard or StepPay
    You can check your eligible cards in 'Settings'
  4. Get cashback into your account, typically paid within 14 business days

Expires 22 Feb 2023 midnight (Sydney/Melbourne time)

    For a $500 booking, almost $100 will be the booking fees, there goes the benifit to Airbnb 😄

    Probably depends on a lot of factors, but I've found hotels to be cheaper for most places I've looked (apples oranges I know)… I think Airbnb takes too large of a cut and forces prices to be higher than they should.

    I am wondering if I buy a $500 gift card from Airbnb's own gift card website: https://www.airbnb.com.au/giftcards, will I get $100 back from Combank?
    I would like to make a booking over $2000, so I may need 4*$500 gift cards…

      It says excludes gift cards. I want to book a $2100 stay but the partial payment is $400ish so I'll need to prepay the whole thing upfront i guess.

    Hi, I have a commbank Platinum Awards card and only see very underwhelming "Little Birdie" offers. I don't see any of the cashback offers. Is there something I need to activate first?
