    Can charge Tesla?

  • This or Anker 737?

    • Anker 737 is a very awkward brick shape. This thing is so much more easier to handle fits half in my pocket. I'd get this.

    • I'm waiting for a good deal on the 737

    • +2

Only get the Anker 737 if you need PD3.1 140W for a Macbook Pro M1 16"

      • nah, I only got a macbook pro M1 13".

  • +6

Not as cheap as the previous $129 deal, but can confirm these are epic powerbanks so worth it, powers my macbook pro and s22 ultra with ease while travelling and not too big actually fits in my pocket but sticks out abit. Only downside is LED light flashes when charging can be very bright so put some black tape over mine.

    • +1

yeah doubt we'll get the $129 price again. Anyway, bought! Just in time to return the 65w Baseus I just got the other day.

      • +1

Was on sale a few times last year from same seller, last time only last month, so good chance

this will be on sale around $130 again, hopefully soon as I have wanted one of these for a while now.

    • +1

It's still $137 shipped directly off aliexpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002476520790.html

      • And 2 months to reach cuz it’s sent by sea.

        • I've found most things coming in 1-2 weeks lately, in the last 6-12 months. Which has been surprising to me. Even like, $10 flashlights.

    • When charging your S22 Ultra does it come up on the phone screen as Fast Charging or Super Fast Charging?

  • +3
    • +2

yeap, now Kogan wised up and only sell their own sucky powerbank for $99.

      • How did the ZMI compare to the Kogan 26800mAh 118W Powerbank?

        • +2

Don't know, but i much prefer ZMI over a house brand like Kogan. If only the Anker 737's shape was better, and cheaper. The 737 does 140w charging over a single port, that's insane.

        • $99 is really a good price. Heard the factory of Kogan powerbank is Trusda(not 100% sure) which is a reliable factory. While be careful the powerbank could be produced 2 years ago.

ZMI powerbank quality is good as well. $170 may not be a really good deal though.

        • I've got the 102w variant of the Kogan one. No issues so far, my main gripe is that it is extremely big and heavy with sharp metal edges, so I always keep it in a case to avoid damaging other things. There's also only 1 USB C port.

I have the Zmi but haven't opened it, bought it on impulse when it was on sale for ~$70. I should probably open it up to check to see if it's working…

    • Remember when kogan sold the gen 1 (blue one) for $20.

      I remember, I bought 4 of them.

    • This is a great powerbank, but after using it for a year I think that these high wattages are a bit useless as all of my laptops charge just fine with my smaller 45W powerbank. Of course charging with 45W is slower than with 100W but considering that you'll be taking the powerbank around with you the whole day anyway the charging speed really doesn't matter that much.
The only time when I really need this powerbank is when I want to charge multiple devices that require USB PD. (This powerbank can do 3 USB PD outputs at the same time.) Also the programmable power supply which does 5-21V 6A is nice.

  • +4

Tbh I charge my 16 with a 45 dollar xiaomi 45w it works good

  • What a tank.

    • +2

Send a few to Ukraine. Fully loaded, of course

  • +2

First deal post, please be nice

Why not just treat yours like every other deal…on merit?

    • I'm referring to the formatting and layout

  • This thing really have power

  • +4

Its hard to get an almost max allowable airline allowed powerbank, high charge rate, good quality. I guess thats why the top 2 in this category is the Anker 737 and this one.

  • +1

Is Baseus Blade 100W 20,000mAh a good buy too?

    • Yes I think the Blade is a good buy. It has a unique shape, its very backpackable.

  • +2

Had this absolute unit for awhile. S22 Ultra X 2, iPads, Nintendo Switch, anything you throw at it , does a perfect job. Get ready to be shocked in how fast things charge on it. Would get a 2nd one but currently OS.

  • Tempted to buy just to put it to smokes testing 210W.

  • -6

This isn't a deal. It's $40 more than the next cheapest deal ($130) and that still wasn't even the cheapest it's been ($82).

    • Just because it is not the cheapest it's been, doesn't mean it "isn't a deal" - its $60 off the RRP (or 26% off). Would you not buy the house next door if it was discounted 26% only because you had seen it cheaper in the past?

      • -3

It's mostly been posted in the past 2 years at $130, which isn't the cheapest it's been but that's still $40 less than this. So yes, that means it's not a deal. Hence why I mentioned it being the next cheapest price.
I've seen how my neighbour lives, no thanks. And trying to make a comparison using the housing market? 🤨

      • +1
        • Add 10% GST, so about $150.

    • +1

Am glad I jumped on that $82 deal

  • +2

Great battery but pretty sure I paid $90 for it

  • +1

Great powerbank as used thoughout my travels charging my laptop and phone but would wait on it going for $130

  • Where is MM?

    • +4

      Mostly Melbourne, somewhat Sydney

  • +2

previously $82 or $94 delivered, not gonna fall for it at this price!

      • +1

It was actually the same model - just wrong title

read comments in that link? :)

Ive been in a unique position to have been able to try nearly all of the top power banks that are available and most of the lesser known stuff coming out of china, with that being said..

This is probably in my top 3 power banks of all time, if you have at least one device that requires more than 20w of power draw, this is a good option. If you have a laptop that accepts usb c charging, this is definitely the best option (price to density/form factor/output/power quality/craftsmanship) if you want something under 250000mAh (carry on approved)

If you can wait, aliexpress have them for 110-130 shipped all the time.

    • Out of interest, what are your top picks / recommendations? :)

  • I cancelled my order :( my quest for power banks continues…. Anker 737?

    • -1

If the rumours are correct, I’m hanging out for the new Apple waterproof power bank with no ports. It’s a magical wireless charging power bank that you recharge wirelessly

      • +1

Wireless charging is so slow tho

        • -1

The rumour is that Apple have found a way to speed it up. They always find a way. As a bonus, you can also use the wireless charger to fry an egg (with effortless cleanup)

  • I bought the Cygnett Chargeup Pro 25K which is an alternative to this. Very happy with it and paid about $150. Charges my Galaxy phone with 'Superfast Charging 2.0' and my razer Blade just fine too. Charges quickly with a 65W laptop charger. No passthrough though.

  • How does this compare to the Baseus 30,000 mAh which is much cheaper?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/313601588432?var=612459161679
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/255551845473?chn=ps&_ul=AU&_trkp…

Make this Xiaomi 25,000 mAh seem expensive?

Or are you paying for the 210W output for faster charging of your phone and laptop?

And if I just charge things overnight the Wattage output doesn't really matter?

    • I read it somewhere….30,000 mAh went pass the limit to carry on plane
and this is 140W output, where some laptops requires high power charging

    • If i'm using a power bank, I'm typically not charging overnight. I am interested in one of these for a powerbank that can charge all my devices at full speed, when/if needed.

      • This power bank recharges very quickly too, at up to 100W. Useful for when you can't recharge it overnight.

  • If I only need to charge my phone while travelling would something like this be better than the Xiaomi Powerbank 3 20000mAh. Or would it be a was of money for the extra features.

    • This one. Hands down best travel powerbank ive ever used, very cool looking to.

    • I recommend the Mi Powerbank 3 20000mAh (45W Version), as it's significantly cheaper, and most phones can't take advantage of the ZMI No.20 anyway. The Powerbank 3 20000mAh can also charge laptops as well so you're covered there too.

  • I wish it wasn't overpriced according to you guys!

    • +1

I know right? Would have been nice getting it sub $100, but hasn't been that way in over a year : ( I'm not quite ready to pull the pin on a power bank…I still don't have a use case at the moment, but with growing power needs I'm sure I'll need portable power soon. Had it on camelcamelcamel for a bit and thought i'd share : )

  • +2

Was this price for months before they put it up for a couple of weeks…

Past deals have all been $129.99 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/xiaomi-zmi-qb826

  • +1

Its back on sale for $169.99 (06/02/23)
