      For the free shipping, generally, we will choose Fastway Aramex as the courier. Relatively Slow as it is, but not much different from other couriers nowadays.

    12900k is about 10% faster than this and $50 cheaper, so prices should continue to fall.

      Probably not. Miners will be grabbing all of these high end AMDs for Raptoreum.

      Intel is somewhat immune from that.

      Also you're not factoring in motherboard cost, the new Intel boards will likely be expensive on release.
      You can get a cheaper x570 board with equivalent quality as a z690 board for much lower cost.

      Furthermore, some games just entirely don't work on Intel 12th Gen at the moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNVJYOkm6zs&t=1857s

      I think by the time support is stable across the board AMD's new architecture will be out which is rumored to out perform Intel but quite a margin.

        Rumours also have Raptor Lake and Zen 4 releasing around the same time, so bit of a moot point outperforming Alder Lake.

    What's the current lead time? I ordered something last week and it's been 'processing' for almost a week. This is the same as my last experience with BPC too. So much for ordering locally so I can click and collect to get it faster :(

      From my experience, they are not that great with updating the status of their orders on the website. I usually call them and find out its been ready for a while now even though the website says "processing".

      I eventually called up and they said they'd be happy to pick my order and I could collect it in half an hour…

      So yeah, my original comment still stands - avoid if you want it quickly and to get accurate updates on your order.

    5950x lowest price was$908 on eBay. I also checked z690 series which I intent to buy. None of the price is great. e.g. asus z690m plus is $399, easily find $319 on scorptec. No deal at all.

      it is a great price, the issue is this post is fairly old and is being updated as opposed to a new post being created specifically for the PC making it hard to find on the forum. Secondly desktop computer isn't one of the tags for some reason, again making this post less visible to a lot of people. Less post traction less upvotes

    i called customer service and the 2 people i spoke with (one of them Dennis) was extremely helpful and friendly.

    i wanted to purchase the blackfriday deal with the RTX 3080 however we were unable to reach a solution.
    I wanted the retail packaging for at least the graphics card and i was happy to pay for the seperate shipping but was told the pre-build pc would only come with the PC case box and additional accessories for the box.

    If rep can organise shipping for the other boxes i am happy to pay for the shipping.

    Just got the Kraken Power BlackFriday RTX 3080 Gaming Build. Forgot to add the 32G upgrade. Called sales and they added it for me and sent payment request for just the upgrade. Super helpful. Now to wait. they said build time is about 3 days now due to the amount of orders. shipping is about a week at this point.
