Xiaomi Viomi V2 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner $357 delivered (was $399) @ JW Computers

110

I noticed my ancient Neato was only lasting 10-15minutes on a charge, so I finally decided to upgrade to a wifi connected vacuum, with a side brush and mop.

Three Cleaning Modes
With the plant bionics system, its' filter can absorb water automatically and keep enough water content. Single sweeping mode, single mopping mode, multi sweeping and mopping modes, cleaning the floor effectively

Smarter Zoned Cleaning
Set the cleaning or non-cleaning area on the APP map, set the target, Xiaomi MI Home will build the cleaning map automatically on the way

LDS Laser Mapping
The LDS sensor will scan the room and create a room map, then efficiently navigate an entire level of your home and keep track of its location

2100Pa Powerful Suction
Xiaomi MI Home Robot can vacuum where dirt, dust hide and even large debris like cereal from wherever it hides, navigating around furniture and under beds, corner trash, and other hard-to-reach places

Automatically Divide the Room Cleaning, Timesaving and Laborsaving
After the first cleaning, it will automatically identity the room and partition to save, you can merge and split the parti-tion map and the named operation, in the subsequent cleaning, will be cleaned according to the room partition

Larger Capacity
The Viomi V2 Pro has a great battery life of up to 2.2 hours. If the Viomi V2 Pro ever reaches its low battery point (20%) the device's breakpoint time function automatically recalls the robovac back to charging station and resumes its task once charged to 80% power. Viomi designed the V2 Pro to cater multiple cleaning modes. Thus, the V2 Pro is uniquely equipped with three large tanks (550ml) all of which serve different modes; Sweep, Mop, and Sweep + Mop (2 in 1 function)

App and Smart Home Control
As with other Mi Home devices, users can observe the V2 Pro's real-time tracking through the Mi Home App - watch your Viomi robot vacuum build a virtual map around your house! Moreover, the App allows users to schedule the device cleaning time, avoid restricted areas by setting up virtual walls, and most importantly utilise the "room recognition" function for multi-cleaning sessions

Good price. I paid $380 a couple of weeks ago.

My experience - so far so good. It picks up SO MUCH dust that I had no idea was there. Navigation is very good. Battery life isn't great, but it will return to charge before resuming the job, so not a major issue. Mopping is better than expected.

Online reviews are a bit hit and miss for this model, so your mileage may vary. For me, I couldn't justify double the price (or more) for a Roborock. At this price I'd say it's worth it.

    • Exact same experience, bought one a couple of weeks ago and have found the same. The latest firmware (which mine came installed with) apparently has some issues mostly around multi-maps and mopping and some pathing issues but I haven't noticed anything amiss yet. Apparently it's almost as good as the Roborocks at half the price so it was an easy choice for me.

  • Hmmm, what is the difference between this and the Dreame D9? D9 has got more suction, but doesn't appear to have anything else to warrant a $200 price difference?

Definitely a hard choice to identify to right robo vac to buy.

  • Looks like it may be sold out:

I want a robovac but too many options and price points to consider…

    • Same here. Too many options & too many price points. Not sure, which one is the best bang for buck atm?

    • Xiaomi S5 Max is the standard. If you're after something that will last a while and are comfortable spending a bit of money, it's the one to get.

  • How does this compare with the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner? That's $30 cheaper ($319 at Gearbyte Ebay)
