Great timing. Yokohama tyres have been great for me so I'm sticking with them, only needed 2 + $80 for a wheel alignment, easy done
I have a pair of the ES32's fitted to my partners car and I'm very happy with them. They seem to be wearing well and are quite quiet.
Checking what I paid however reveals a different story.
July 2019 - $132/tyre for 235/40/R18
Sept 2020 - $199/tyre base price, sale price = $149/tyreSo, not a great deal, but decent I guess.
i got these. very bouncy tyres compare to dunlops.
I have had Bluearth tyres on my i30. By the time they were due for replacement (just over 3mm left) they were good for one thing only: drifting. Which is great fun, except if you need to stop in a hurry or want to make it around a corner in the rain without people running for cover.
When I swapped to Bridgestone Ecopia, the difference was huge. Extremely good grip and much quieter than the Yokohama tyres ever were. My car drives completely differently. Economy also seems to be better than I ever got from the Bluearths. The mechanic said Yokohama tyres are only good for the first year.
Others' experience may differ from mine.
