Reminds me a little of The United States' tax-filing software industry actively prevents search engines from discovering their free-filing versions.
However having looking at the site it does claim 'We connect to the ATO, Uber, Square, Airtasker and more to minimise form filling and calculations.' Depending on what reporting those services provide, the $49 might be well spent to save time.
And use coupon code “do it yourself” and save $29 too…
So $0 for tax return !!
Or just use UberTax where some random, unregistered, unemployed person can do your Tax for half that price, unless of course you submit it during the surge period…

Depends on the size of your BAS too. Tax agents get an extra 14 day extension that the everyday person doesnt get… never pay the taxman early!
Does anyone know if they check your GST report to find out if you are entitled to more/less GST credits than estimated?
