Equal best price since December last year. I was on the hunt for a wireless gaming headset solution and, at under a hundred dollars, it seems that the G930s are unquestionably the best bang for your buck. Looked at the Astro A50s - which are apparently better - but they are also three times the price and not worth it in my books. Enjoy!

BTW, DICKsmith here in Sydney recently has 40% of Logitech Gaming Accessories, I was dying for the G602 Gaming Mouse, so after a long drive and wait in the car park, I was told the G-series gaming mice By Logitech dont fall under this deal.

I was like WTF? then what does 40% of Logitech Gaming Accessories mean?

The dude was like, oh the gaming headsets, and some particular models of keyboard.

    sigh

    • Was looking at the G602 too as well… Apparently this deal DOES include the G602 as a Gaming Accessory :)

      Comes to 51.70 + postage
(Was $63.83 AUD to get it to me, in Melb)

Just cancelled my G930 order and made a new one with both the G930s and the G602 - I'm sick of wires! Came to $132.94USD ($147.26AUD) for the both of them. Thanks, NickyGee :)

I am wearing these now, you will not be disappointed. I love these headphones!

  • I've had my set since launch and they haven't failed me yet.

I'm thinking of buying a second pair at this price, they are a great headset.

  • how are these on the ps4 ?

    • Not for use with consoles, unfortunately.

      • damn….. no good to me.

      • I believe they work on the PS4, though haven't been able to find out if they are fully supported (7.1 and in game chat). I found that most PS4 users are saying they are too quiet and the volume rocker doesn't function. PC reviews are mostly positive, making this highly tempting with Titanfall and Elder Scrolls Online releasing in the next couple of months, but 100 bucks for PC exclusive headphones is a lot to swallow

        • $100 for a high quality, wireless, 7.1 headset is hard to swallow? Maybe if you didn't really game on your PC - but otherwise, this is excellent value as far as I can tell.

        • Are there similar models that also work for consoles? If not then I'll definitely grab these

Have a look at some of the Turtle beach ones. Usually just need a Bluetooth adapater for your PC for the microphone to work

      • Damn shame, I was about to buy one if it worked for the Xbox One…

  • These are great value for wireless gaming headphones.

But $80 or so on regular headphones will give you much better quality if quality is what you are looking for.

    • Wireless at that price? Not doubting you, I just don't know a whole lot about the market.

regular headphones = not wireless or for gaming :)

My point was that I've used a wireless headphones including the on in the post, the sound quality is average but you do get decent positional audio.

Fair enough. That's what I expected. Which is why I have no intention of parting with my AD700s. How else to listen to music like this?

        • +1

Thats why I won't be parting with my AD900's ;)

Sound quality sure becomes addictive once you go with Audio Technica, I've been trying to find something even better!

Honestly if you have AD700/900 or better these Logitech headphones sound like you are listening through a tin can with string.

        • Yeah I just hate being physically restrained to my PC while gaming - by both my headphones and my separate, clip-on mic. I really like my Razer Deathadder mouse as well, but sick of the cord getting in the way so that's getting replaced too. If only I could find a decent wireless mechanical keyboard.

        • Do you really move around the keyboard and mouse that much?

        • Mouse… Yes? Keyboard… Not so much, but the fewer wires the better.

        • You could try Matias Bluetooth mechanical keyboards. They are meant to be good, although not super cheap. edit* Switches Alt-Win keys on PC. http://matias.ca/laptoppro/mac/ and locally

Thanks mate, great find, i was just about to buy a similar thing at officeworks for about double the price!

Glad to hear it, shaz! I don't care if a deal I post only gets a single upvote - as long as at least one person manages to save a few dollars - or a lot of dollars in your case!

  • I have these, and whilst generally happy with them, I find they get a lot of dropouts from 2.4Ghz WiFi, which I've been unable to satisfactorily resolve.

    • That's a bugger. Do you have issues with other 2.4GHz devices at your place? Routers etc?

      • No, just these. Mate at work has the exact same issue. Need to make sure your 2.4Ghz router is a fair distance away. 2 metres through a brick wall is not enough

  • I really want a gaming headset that has some nice high quality sound. I would love to know the sound quality of these in comparison to something like the sennheiser gaming headsets with simulated surround sound.

    • A gaming headset with high quality sound doesn't exist.

  • Does anyone know why they say 40% off Logitech, but it only incorporates 1 headset, 1 mouse?

  • On the fence with these, need new headset but would like to know the sound quality is good.

    • If all you care about is sound quality, go with something like a Samson SR850 or Aurvana Lives with a separate mic.

      • Bit the bullet and bought them just before the price change :D

  • Has this deal expired? It's telling me US$109.80, plus US$14.37 postage…. or am I missing something?

    • Yeah, I think it expired, the mouse was at $44.99, I put it in cart but didn't checkout, 30min later, it's now 59.99 :(

  • damn it.. just when i decide to pull the trigger, the deal expires!

        No Dice!

but the price has recently increased I was wondering If it's possible to get the older price?
        Mar 11, 2014 02:39 AM $69.99
Subash:Nathan, we constantly receive new data from our suppliers, our prices regularly change. The price you saw was the lowest price we were able to offer at the time.
Me:okay fair call, but not able to offer anything near that price?
Subash:In this case we don't have an option to reduce the price, Nathan.
Me:okay, I just have one other question I purchased an item from a 3rd party seller, who I never received the item,
the Seller told me he refunded me the money to my amazon account how does this work?
my next amazon purchase takes off the money?
Subash:Please help me with the order number, Nathan

Received mine today - could not be happier. The sound quality is quite a lot better than I was expecting. A bit muddier than my AD700s, but considering the famous clarity and soundstage of the AD700s - this is hardly a black mark against the G930's name. Please to report I don't have problems with the wireless connection, despite have a few wireless devices in the house. In fact, I can get all the way downstairs and then some before it starts to drop out. Ear-cuppage is extremely satisfying and, following from that, the passive noise cancelling is quite good. In terms of the mic - my voice comes through loud and clear to my mates. Really impressed!

  • Yeah I also received mine today, I've got them wired while doing a first charge but so far so good
