[Perks] Jabra Elite 10 ANC True Wireless In-Ear Headphones $227.40 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ JB Hi-Fi

140

Jabra headphones are all on discount during the Perks sale, but I have the Elite 10 and I think at this price they are a fantastic deal.

Two standout features for these are comfort and connectivity (solid regardless of OS, multipoint is actually useful).

ANC is very good for low frequency noise but does struggle with higher frequencies compared to others I've had like the AirPods Pro and Bose QCII earbuds. Battery life is excellent, transparency mode is passable, mics for calls are good.

Fit is good with the standard tips for me, but despite the weird triangle nozzle you can use aftermarket tips on these (I'm currently using the Final Audio Type E tips)

The only real downside I see with these is they are more prone to amplifying wind noise. The wind noise reduction feature introduced in newer firmware does basically nothing to mitigate this IMO.

Don't ask me about Dolby audio because the surround sound stuff for music is the equivalent to 3D TVs.

  • Hmm I was checking the Elite 10 this week. The closest comfortable in-ear buds I have is the Elite 7 Pro and wondering if anyone had the Elite 7 and considered the 10 a substantial upgrade

    • +1

At this price its a no brainer, but when i got these for above $300, I felt they weren't as good as its competitors.

Yeh I was same boat re holding for pods pro 2 or xm5s, but at almost $100 or so cheaper this was a quick buy for me! (Used a 10% disc GC too)

I have these, work great for MS Teams at the desk and awesome sound (great bass) - However the ANC does kinda suck in noisy environments, with the resulting call quality a struggle on the receiving end.

    • Thanks for your comments.

In your experience, did the latest firmware make any noticeable improvements to the ANC?

I've had these on my shortlist along with the Sony XM5, Sennheiser M4 and Technics AZ80. But this price might just sway me towards Jabra.

      • I think there's limits to how well these can cancel some frequencies due to their vented design. Makes them comfortable without the blocked ear feeling (which even the AirPods Pro have noticeably more of compared to these), but I feel it limits just how good the ANC can be.

Also feel this may be why it struggles to block wind noise through the earbuds.

      • Yup swayed me

    • Would you say it's worth it for the calls? Had the 75t and they were fine before losing them.

I had the Elite 75T actives and upgraded to these a few months back, miles better in every conceivable way except the case is slightly bigger. At this price, it's a steal.

    • Cool. Current user of 75Ts so great to hear a decent upgrade. Actually pulled trigger before the deal was posted as price too good (previous ATL $245 I think). got them for the missus but might have to ‘acquire’ them and she gets the hand me downs lol

Chuffed to see these were included in the 40% off jabras… clicked on email thinking would be excluded, surprised were not and so bought straight up earlier.

Kudos for the good write up too OP

  • Thanks for the user experience comments here, purchased.
Not only am I a USBC cable hoarder, am turning into a ear/headphones hoarder too

Thanks OP it was a sign after contemplating for a week now about the Elite 10 :)

  • Are these good for running/gym? I've been using my over-ear Bose headphones but I'm thinking of getting a pair of in-ear

  • Thanks OP!

Picked up a pair and added 2 years extra warranty for $263 all up ($10 off for first purchase).

Super happy and will make a great replacement for my disappointing WF-1000XM4 which won't hold charge and Sony won't replace after 1.5 years of daily use.

    • How's the sound and fit compared to the Sonys? I swapped the tips to Comply foam and it's still not a good fit and falls out all the time.

The Jabras are currently $249 on amazon and i'm thinking of buying.

  • If anyone sees a comparable deal please let me know! I was too slow on it, thought it was available until 9pm not 9am on the day this deal ran…

  • I actually don't like em, bought on the deal but JB won't accept returns if opened
