Anyone have experience with this monitor? Will be predominantly for work purposes and may play the odd game in the future.

How’s it compare to the other 27” dell deal which seems to be more expensive?

I have one of these. I'm happy with it, good value, crisp, but can only really compare it to my previous monitor, a 24" flatscreen HP. It took a little while to adjust to a curved screen, and I miss the HPs inbuilt speaker and USB hub, but otherwise a great screen. I use it for browsing, spreadsheets and map editing

    • If you’re using it mainly for work- go for 4K. You get a document up on that baby and you are seriously looking at that document.

VA, but it's solid-to-good VA. Please add the product model as a tag so people can check past deals.

It's been 2 years since it was this price, but there's an argument for such a monitor to cost about $230 or less in today's market.

RTings aren't great for their scoring system, and their testing methodology and their data presentation makes IPS panels look better than they actually perform for motion blur, but here's a great table of data to see how this performs against the best VA for gaming/fast motion.

Wasn't there an IPS version of this one a few years back?

    • That would be the S2721DGF (of which I have two) and they are great

Thanks OP, great timing. Had to give my wife back her 2 x 27 QHD monitors :-)

BTW, for some reason I received an additional whopping $1.00 discount at checkout making the total $298.20

Overkill for what I use but do like a game of Fortnite a few times a week.
