I have bought the Samsung frame TV and planning to wall mount. Is it OK to pass through the one cumber box cable behind the drywall so that it installs flush like how it supposed to be? I have been reading that this cable is not wall rated and you shouldn't install but other comments say otherwise. Can anyone please let me know if you are using it behind the wall with the supplied Oneconnect box and cable?

Just be very careful when you push the cable, since it's optical fibre it's easily crackable. I recommend once the conduit is setup, pass the cable yourself.
Sure. I have the insulation material like sponge as well so thinking if this 50mm conduit will pass through. Need atleast 70cm from top to bottom. Any thoughts on this pls?
@IDontKnowWhyImHere: That's going to be a difficult one. You might need to put a single cable conduit on it but you can't be bending or wiggling the cable much.

We are building a house currently and was wondering if the above duct cable can be installed during build or even later during TV installation as well?
If you are building it, you can use a DIY cheaper version, ask your tradie you would like to leave it behind the wall.
"Not wall rated" just means that the plastic around the cable isn't thick enough to minimize the risk of damage if someone accidentally puts a screw or nail through it. There's no reason you can't put it into a wall if you're willing to take the risk. Or, as abs898 says, you could run it through some kind of conduit.
Also, for what it's worth, drywall is called plasterboard in Australia.

You don't potentially need to connect anything else to the box? I was going to stuff mine into the wall before, but thought it would be such a pain to take the TV off the wall each time I wanted to connect something - like whenever someone brought over a gaming console or something.
I'm planning to keep the one connect box on the entertainment unit, so that its accessible for any connection.

I've had the actual cable behind the wall for the last 4 years and all's been good.
The installer put mine behind the drywall. Works fine. I believe Samsung sell a version which is rated for drywall use. You could check this. As others have said, it's probably more about the supplied cable being less robust.

Ended up getting a book case to place on the side of the wall and had the cables run through wall. Used a brushed wall plate to make it tidy. Problem solved.
Just because people do it doesn't mean it is okay to do so. Even though the risk is low, the cable is not wall rated and therefore if you install it that way, it is at your own risk. It may void your home contents insurance. Even using a conduit is technically not compliant. The correct way to do it would be to make a niche behind the TV to place the one connect box.
