2017 Formula 1 Malaysian Grand Prix up to 82% off: $32 Uncovered Grandstand, $40 Covered, $212 F-S Main Grandstand + More

240

Since this is the last Grand Prix in Malaysia (at least for the time being), Sepang International Circuit are selling all tickets at discounted rates at up to 82% off except for paddock club.

Grandstand seats are around $212 for all three days.

The track is literally over the road from KLIA so a whirlwind stay is easily accomplished using hotels inside the airport.

This season looks to be particularly good as well so it'd be well worth attending.

  • What a shame we will be travelling through KL the weekend before and after, we seem to always be just a week or two out. This is the middle weekend of NSW school holidays and the long weekend so perfect for those looking to get away!

now need to find cheap flights! want to go japan too the weekend after!!

  • It's probably our cheapest option of the races probably, even when taking into account flights and accomodation if you can pick up cheapest ticket from the LCC's.

Unless your slap bang in Melbourne and don't have to travel to it. without knowing the cost of the Melbourne Race i'm guessing before i get slapped.

I think i can only see full price?

  • Expecto Patronum!

  • Is there a code or anything for these are they seem to just be showing at the standard prices for Malaysia. There's nothing listed in the promo column either.

I know they're a lot cheaper than other circuits, but Malaysia has always been the cheapest grand prix in the calendar and these prices seem about normal.

  • Fantastic prices for tickets

Paid $200 for K1 stand back in 2015.
Early bird prices which ended in January were $100 (race was April then).
Same tickets listed at $103 now.

Only problem is it's school holidays….out of Hobart JQ flights are around $800 return where I have paid $400 in the past :(

If you haven't seen an Overseas GP, just do it. From K1 grandstand you get to see end of main straight and turns 1,2,3 up to turn 4. Way better than Aust and Sing GP's

    • Can you see the screen though? It seems far away. Have you been on the main grandstand?

      • +1

Screen is a bit of a distance compared to others but you can still see it. We were in the far left of K1, which is easy to get good tickets where it's under cover towards back and higher up. Great views of end of main straight and turns 1-3. We visited the main grandstands, and still think we had a better view.

        • Cheers for that. Was there as English track commentator/announcer?

  • I found the airfare to Singapore a lot cheaper than the one to KL for the race weekend, would it make make sense to fly there and travel with bus/train/ hired car?

    • Yep and buy the train tickets from the Malaysia (cheaper than SG prices)

      • Thanks!

        • Or just stay at a hotel in the airport and don't bother travelling to KL at all

    Get your swimsuits ready.

    • Actually, they've gone up since March this year. I bought K1 for MYR 391.68 total with fees and taxes, the current price is MYR 445.

  • Yes, but what support races and off track entertainment has been confirmed?

Last year was GP2 (Formula 2) and GP3, arguably 10 times better than F1 - unless Vettel is ramming someone…

I don't think anything could've been better than last year since Hamilton broke down and Ricciardo won!
