If eufy has PoE i would go but i bought the reolink 811a. I think eufy has better sw like ai detection.

    • is 4K worth getting or stay with 2K?

Any pros or cons of 4K vs 2K?

What is bad about reolink AI detection and why eufy better?

Also did you get a bundle or just 1 reolink?

      • With 2K ( 2 pro model ) i can barely read rego plate as it drives up my driveway . With 4k ( eufy 3 ) , i can easily read it.

Can you see your neighbour face/body clearly from across the street (opposite your house)?
I got a 1080p cam and any human or neighbour on the pavement or house opposite my house is just pixelated/blurry.

what is the file size of 4K vs 2K for a e.g. 1 min video?

is there any difference in smoothness of the video of 4K vs 2K?

I think I read somewhere that 4K only can do 15fps vs 30fps (or whatever number) of 2K and lower etc..

          • @pinkybrain: Nah . You wont see any face that far away. You will need those 8K cams to see faces 8-10m away.

Never really compare video size as you can expand HB3 with extra storage. And for me, my hb3 store 1 week worth footage with 6 cameras connected to it (4 2c , 1 2 pro and 2 3’s)

My 3 and 2 pro both only do 15fps . Not sure how to crank it up to 30 fps.

Having bought the 2C during the last sale, I expect these are excellent. The only reason I'd personally go for the 3 over the 2 is the facial recognition, since I already have a hundred unnecessary recordings of family members coming and going. Not that big a deal though, the battery and storage are more than enough to handle false recordings.

@Stevsta - just FYI, your Bunnings link is for a different pack (with the solar cams).

  • Just picked one up at Bunnings .. for $949

Was on the look out for security cameras last week.

3 store assistants queried whether the Bunnings price beat amount should be honoured…

Hopefully quick and easy to set up when I get in

    • You get the 3 or 3c?

      • I got the 3C - price beat the Bing Lee price by an additional $100
