"The S3 is at the same level as the iPhone4/4s"

It takes a lot of courage to type this hahahahaha ……

      • +2

In English please! So what is the reason you buy Apple products? What do you mean " The S3 is at the same level as the iPhone 4/4s? I don't understand your statement.

        • +7

I think it means Apple products don't depreciate in sale price as much as other brands.

      • +3

You paid $500 for apple logo and the rest for old crap technology.

Finally pulled the trigger, at this pricepoint. Didn't want to get a white one - grey will be fine, I will probably get a case or something anyway. Here's hoping delivery goes smoothly! Cheers for the post.

  • does this have 2gb memory compared to the 3g version which has 1gb ?

  • +1

this should be the extended warranty, however they dont give that option in the drop down box ..

    http://www.shoppingsquare.com.au/p_10214_Red_Extended_1_year…

they only give the $49 $1000 version

    • nice find!

    • Are you sure this applys to this deal? Looking at 4. in the t&C

4)Should repair be economically unfeasible or parts be unavailable, we will replace your camera with one of similar type and equal value, (based on its value at the time of the claim)

      Cameras only?

    • Oookay???

    • What do you mean by Once bitten … What was the bite all about? Pls do share.

Of course its come down in price……… I bought one last week from kogan. Couldn't wait any longer with my s1 struggling so much.

    <Begin Tongue>
Why buy this old technology anyway? The new S4 is like so much faster, sexier and better at everything. Like why buy old when you can get the latest for like only $400 more? :)
    </End Cheek>

    • I think you've forgotten what website you are on, is called, BARGAIN!!!

Besides, who knows if there is any major problem with the S4, as it's just been released.

      • I'm going to assume you don't know what tongue-in-cheek means.

        • You are right, no idea.

          Sounds like i misunderstood "deltakilo"??!!

If yes, that's awkward… as english isn't my first lauguage…

Go to Officeworks, get this price quote with shipping/print it out and show them.

They will match the price and take 5% off the total (price + shipping)

And you get australian stock and you get it immediately.

Officeworks now pricematches/beats online stores within australia as long as it is identical.

    http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/landing/Lowest-price-gu…

    • link to ur receipt?

    • +1

It's not reasonable to expect them to match this. It's a grey import without manufacturers warranty.

      • So, normally how can i tell if it's grey import or "local" product??? By price?

        • Generally if it's a local product, they will advertise local manufacturer warranty. Don't mix that up with warranty provided by the site though!

    • Officeworks doesn't sell 4G version. Besides, a grey import doesn't qualify. The page you linked says "Non identical products and services (inclusive of non identical warranties)" are excluded. Grey imports have a different warranty.

  • 5", quad-core FHD phones are coming in April. Some costing half the price of this SIII, though not sure if they'll come with LTE.

Gotta be suss of a website that has the word "giz" in it.

Anyway, hardly comparable to brand name phones I would have thought? And like you point out we don't even know if these are 4G phones…

    • None will have 4G, if you look at the specs, most only support 3G 850/2100 (Telstra, Voda) bands. These cheap Chinese phones aren't really directly comparable with phones like the Samsung Galaxy S range.

  • Lenovo K900 and Huawei D2 are great phones.

Jesus, It is shopping square!!!! How dare U guys!!! Mod: Removed Personal Attack
lots of ppl got cheated by them…
    Definitely not recommanded!!!

    • My comment got deleted overnight.

How can these guys still be trading?!

  • Hey, what's the street price on one of these in Asia do you reckon? I'm going to Hong Kong in 3 weeks and trying to decide whether I should buy this now or wait. I'm not looking at the S4 at this stage as it will be too expensive for features I most likely won't use.

  • For those ppl who dont know SQ, Let tell this way: They probly sent you a 3G S3 and reply your email said you did not read my website clearly! or they could even send you a fake toy phone and tell you I punked you!

  • The 4G version is not quad-band on 3G network, right???

  • anyone receive theirs and it was already opened?
