  • Windows Phone 8 not Window 8

  • $249 delivered for the 8S and you've got a customer :)

      take away their margin? Thin.

Heard last night that over 75% of Windows Phone sales are Nokia. There may be a reason for this, so check them out at a Telstra store etc and compare to HTC 8s.

Perhaps some of the reasons for Nokia's large share could be their included free navigation software and generally (apparently) better quality cameras.

  • worry me is the internal memory of 4gb, windows take 2gb already and left around 1.5-2gb, can someone confirm that we can install apps on external memory?

    • +2

On the Lumia 620 I can only see an option to store photos taken and music on the card. Apps default to internal storage and I have not seen a way to install on the card.

Although the Lumia 620 has 8Gb internal memory, I haven't installed THAT much and only got 1.5 Gb left free. Stats show another 1.5Gb used by 'other' whatever that is.

I know this thread is for HTC 8s, but just letting you know my experinces with the competitors equivalent model.

  • Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Dual Sim White - No Next G compatibility am I correct? Rep, is there a model that is NextG compatible?

    • I've been looking for a decent dual sim with NextG plus vodafone availability and so far no deal. This one doesn't seem to support it but there's a chinese version of the galaxy note 2 which supports dual sim NextG/Optus/Vodafone it's just fiendishly expensive…

  • Able to deal on the SGS3 or similar phone OP?
