  • My wife just wants to get rid of MY nose and ear hair

    • Ah, a loving nudge towards self-care! How about surprising her with a treat?

      • +1

I did. I plucked my nose today. While she watched. If that's not a treat I don't know what is

  • I don’t know what kind of relationship you have with your mother, but I’m content with giving mine a preorder of John Farnham’s memoir and some flowers

    • -1

That sounds like a thoughtful gift! Every relationship is unique, and it's wonderful that you know what your mom would appreciate. Preordering John Farnham's memoir and adding some flowers will surely make her Mother's Day special.

      • That sounds like ChatGPT

        • +1

From ChatGPT - somehow it's both better and worse than the rep's reply!

"Thank you for sharing your thoughtful gift idea! While our expertise lies in IPL equipment, we appreciate the sentiment behind your gesture. 😊

Regarding your mother’s preorder of John Farnham’s memoir and the flowers:

We believe that personal connections are essential, just like the precision and effectiveness of our IPL devices.
While we can’t provide memoirs or flowers, we’d be delighted to offer you a special discount on our cutting-edge IPL equipment.
Imagine the joy your mother will feel when she experiences the long-lasting results of our technology!"

        Thanks ChatGPT.

At least localise the copy and paste by using Australian spelling of words to make it sound a bit more believable.

  • +2

Definitely an awkward gift to get for your mother.

"Hey mum, not trying to say you're hairy, but just in case have this!"

    • +1

OP should change code from "LOVEUMUM" to "MUMURHAIRY"

    • Ha, fair point! Our hair removal is definitely a unique gift idea. While it might not be for everyone, it's a thoughtful option for those interested in hassle-free grooming. And hey, it's the thought that counts, right?"

  • too late

    • Apologies for missing the mark on timing! Keep an eye out for future promotions. It's never too late to show appreciation for Mom!

Reverse Google Image search of the customer reviews comes up with those images on other sites. Care to explain?

    • +4

Yeah - using stock or repurposed images in supposedly "your" reviews doesn't pass the pub test

    lmao dropshopping

    • sounds like there might be some confusion. Our products are sourced and delivered directly, ensuring quality and authenticity.
      definitely not dropshipped.

  • I'm guessing this gift works really well with mothers-in-law as well!!

    Your mileage may vary

  • Can males use this on their sack? Asking for a friend

    • Yup can use it. 😉

      • Thank you, on his behalf

        • 😀 no problem at all.

@Demha: You have not addressed this point about the "reviews" displayed on your website appearing on other websites…

            • @Ham Dragon: all of our reviews are authentic and genuine.
we're planning to upload customer feedback videos on our social media pages in the next few weeks. This will allow everyone to see firsthand the genuine experiences shared by our customers.

              • +2

@Demha: That's very nice, but you have not addressed the issue that your alleged reviews are appearing on third party websites (nothing to do with social media posts). A little more digging into Google cache will reveal who had what first, are you sure that won't undermine your claim?

                • @Ham Dragon: we take the authenticity of our reviews very seriously, rest assured, our team will thoroughly investigate which third-party website posted the reviews in question.

    • Technically you can. However, nutsacks tend to be in more darker skin tone, so the IPL would likely burn your skin instead and leave you with roasted nuts.

      • Once I forgot to score my chestnuts before roasting them and they exploded. None of that is a double entendre.

        • +1

were they on your chest at the time?

  • +2

Not really a bargain when you can buy similar for much less on Aliexpress.
