      If you have made just a small deposit to secure booking and a major part of the reservation is scheduled to be charged to your card at a future date, then yes. I have been able to change that to gift card in the past. You will have to phone them for that to be arranged. It was straightforward and easy.

      If you have already paid for the entire booking with credit card, then no I don’t think that’s possible. Perhaps call and check, and let us know here how you go.

    Thanks for the deal. I couldn't get the discount to show up for Luxury Escapes as I went to the checkout. Terms and conditions say 'limited stock', so I suspect it may have ran out.

      I just added a $100 Luxury Escapes gift card to my cart and went through the checkout process. When I got to step 3 (Review items and delivery), the checkout applied the 15% discount.

      Did you see a discount when you got to step 3 of the checkout process?

        Many thanks for this. I did eventually see it at the very last step and pulled the trigger.

        Interestingly and for everyone's awareness, I experimented with just placing one voucher in the cart, and it went directly to step 3, showing me the discounted price. I was initially adding two vouchers and it was requesting a credit card confirmation in Step 2, which wasn't showing the discount. After re-confirming my credit card details, it was all good with the discount being applied to multiple vouchers.

    I struggled to find any good hotel deals on luxery when they joined with velocity frequent flyer. They were more than 15% more than other booking options. Are they better for domestic market?

          same. this is what i did….i contacted them 3 times as i was concern the deal on LE would expiry by the time they get gift cards. So on 2nd attempt on chat they told exact time in UTC when someone from their end will do manual authorization. And not on the same time but it took them extra hour to send it. took 24 hrs in total. Funnily Amazon guys were keep saying it was the bank, in fact it was them who needed to do manual check.

            I rang my credit card provider but was told it was Amazon. My cc provider even gave me the authorisation number they sent Amazon for me to give it to Amazon too. Amazon said they couldn't do anything about it, except wait…

            Amazon even told me that getting selected for manual verification is very rare… It sure doesn't sound that rare..

    Thank you very much for sharing this. I had a bit over $2500 left to pay on my booking so I bought 5 x $500 and saved myself $375. Amazon called me about 36 hours after purchase to verify and once done the gift cards were released. You can load them all in to your LE account as credits.

      I'm in the same boat. Went to their support and they advised to allow up to 48 hours. Bit confusing when it notes it will arrive quickly.

    Finally received mine. Had to call Amazon CS to verify the purchase. Called 1800571894. CS advised should be verified in about 12 hrs. Received around that timeframe. Thanks for the post OP! Saved a fortune!
