Patiently waiting and hoping for green on gold to go this price too

    • I already have a PRX and never really wanted one of these, and the new small seconds isn't that great either. That was until I saw this:

Got it for a super secret VIP price. Should be arriving today

Why this dial look like the time i accidentally smashed my Samsung t260 lcd screen 🥲

I got it for the nostalgia

There's also a new blue one with rainbow edged indices. Almost got that one but already have a Tiffany prx

  • This is my favourite of all of them, all the recent chatter about how bad the bracelet is has got me hesitating though…

    • I'm wearing this watch right now. The bracelet is sweet I don't know what people are on about. I own several citizens and seiko's in this price bracket and the quality is comparible amongst all of them, but I actually prefer the fit and styling of this one.

      • I think he’s talking about the recent post by Zane on AAWF that trashed the bracelet design and produced many comments from both sides of the fence

        • It's an integrated bracelet so not many options to go with in case you don't like the metal bracelet that it comes with, similar situation with the PRX. I have the PRX and the bracelet is great but not many options to go with if I want to try something different.

          • @itsmoe: I was originally after a prx but now the Tsuyosa range growing on me. Even though it has the cyclops I kinda think it works

            • @Jimothy Wongingtons: Yeh I caved in and bought a PRX powermatic when it first came out and now it's just sitting there as I don't fancy it as much as I did before. Great watch but not for a $1150.

I'm glad you are enjoying yours, it's a beautiful watch.

              • @itsmoe: nah havent jumped yet - never seen the green on gold on special.
at first i was set on specifically prx powermatics but im a bit more ehh about it now.

1150 yeah its way too much.
resale would be heaps better on the prx but.

@Jimothy Wongingtons: Oh you want the Green on Gold, that looks fancy but a bit too much for my liking.

The PRX is great, I just hate the lume on it, super pointless to even have lume there when it doesn't last for more than 5 mins.

Same scenario with the Citizen, my cousin bought the one the OP shared and he said the lume is below average.

                  • @itsmoe:

                    lume

everything to me is below average lume compared to the lume monster that is the sd1970 for under $100 sometimes lol

@Jimothy Wongingtons: haha yeh I know, I have one, it's a monster but it's a chunky boy. I have a San Martin BB54 homage and the lume on it is amazing and only paid $300 during a sale, just some sharp edges. But overall is a great watch.

                  • @itsmoe: The lume on this watch is honestly so bad that it’s pointless.

                    • @BarUp: It's a shame, good lume would have literally cost them nothing.

    • 20+ years of being a Seiko fanboy have made me immune to shitty bracelets. Bracelet quality isn't even a factor when I buy watches, even integrated ones
